The possibility of our youngsters lifting a trophy against senior and mostly professional sides is not nonsense and as to the format the only thing that's really changed is that more teams can now compete.

From a personal point of view I would have preferred some ground that was more central and not bloody Stirling because from where I live it is a trek getting there and if these games are going to be midweek then getting home is difficult, whereas I can understand why Ibrox shouldn't be used playing at another ground in Glasgow would be a lot easier due to rail links etc.

A great talent for someone who is still only 19 yrs old. If only we could have a team of David Weirs with Rossiter and McKay to support.

Two totally different types of injuries the one he got at Kilmarnock was an impact injury with the way his knee clattered the plastic surface of their pitch and the recent one was a hamstring pull/strain. Anyways they expect to have the results later today and hopefully just a pull but that would see him out for 2-3 weeks at the most.

All this talk about travel to Stirling, from Wishaw at the moment would take nearly 2 hours to get there and of course that would be nearly 2 hours back and part if not all of the journey is going to be by bus! Going wouldn't necessary be an issue but would get back far too late for a mid game evening kick off. LOL just checked the actual route, the so called bus journey is from Central to Queen Street! Still too long a trek as for return journey I would have to travel to Edinburgh to get a train back to Wishaw and If I miss the 22:07 train then I'm truly fucked as that would be the last one I could get.

He'll join the under 20 development squad but he has been signed on loan by Rangers so we could play him in the first team if we wanted to as long as it's not against Raith. It's the same for any of our younger players, they could be promoted to the first team at any time.

As I said Hibs should be hammered for the actions of their fans, but I don't believe any team who won a trophy legally should be stripped of that title, those players won the trophy fair and square. IF it was our fans then I would expect the club to be hammered for the actions of our fans but I would not like or expect us to be stripped of a title that we won legally.

Maybe the loan is so we can get a better look at him and if we think he is good enough then in future we might try to sign him? Really don't know seems a strange loan signing.

No the cup should not be taken of them that is a ridiculous suggestion, even though I'm still pissed we lost the match the Hibs football team won the trophy fair and square what happened afterwards had nothing to do with their players. Hibs as a club should be hammered but I'm expecting lenient punishments because the report will probably say stuff like this should have been done better that should have been done better, no one would have expected what happened to unfold, we all need to learn from the mistakes and move on Blah Blah Blah. Basically I don't expect much from the report and don't expect much in the line of punishments being dished out.

It's an international weekend there won't be any games in the top flight and you never know the Ginger Twat might end up picking some of our players for international duty anyway.
