  1. He was never fully commited to any club I believe, although his ability was not up for debate. Remember him scoring some goals and he would just greet the other player's celebrations but not celebrate himself.
  2. That just reeks of a glory hunter. Yeh, that's right. In fact, I started supporting Rangers throughout 9IAR, then it fazed out until the end of last season... Fuck off.
  3. I like to see them win. I'm not going to wish failure upon them. However, either down to the fact they cannot offer me as much as Rangers can, or whether I am just used to them losing, I'm not as downbeat if they lose compared to when Rangers lose. Some people support Rangers and not the national team. For me, Rangers come first, then Scotland.
  4. What do you expect? Feigning injury is so much worse than purposefully trying to inflict injury and pain on another professional footballer ::
  5. Make a poll regarding Celtic and Rangers...Allowing site moderators to see the votes. Whoever votes in Celtic's favour, GTF.
  6. I voted no. However I think it is a bit unfair. Lafferty is still a young lad. The result in this game meant as much to him as it did us. When tempers flare, against one of our rivals, in a very important match, who's to say they wouldn't have done the exact same thing? I think most people agree it is wrong and I would like to think I wouldn't do something like this if in the same position, but I do not know for sure.
  7. Right...From the punishments handed out, faking injury seems much worse than trying to injure fellow professionals on purpose. Our governing body are a fucking joke. People wonder why the SPL is in a mess? Because the Big Dogs are a bunch of fucking idiots. That's why!
  8. We could use Boyd for his link-up play which would allow each of those players to score 10-15 a season!
  9. Wouldn't really be fair if one team wins all their games and another just humps diddy teams now and again and takes the title.
  10. I like Davis...Tireless, tracks back and really fights for the ball. But in terms of attacking, I think he was very inconsistent last season. He had a tough year last year and was always played out right. Would love to see him a Mendes in the middle for a good period of games.
  11. I have to say that I too believed McGregor to be much better than Alexander. I felt that Alexander does everything right but never pulled off any fantastic saves. However, whilst this was being discussed towards the end of last season when Alexander was number 1, he did in fact pull off some excellent saves. I think Alexander should start off between the sticks this season. See how it goes. If he doesn't impress, I'm sure Walter will do what is neccessary. But I believe he will be just as good as McGregor.
  12. They are both different scenarios. I wouldn't accept any player from Rangers going onto a blog or anything in the public domain to criticise management, fellow players or anything to do with the club. Edu was being taken advantage of by bigots. Completely different. However, it is not possible for anyone in Rangers to make foreign players aware of every person who is part of the IRA or who sympathised with them. The intentions by Edu were good. Trying to get closer to the fans, however I don't think it will be possible in future because of this. We used to have on RM interviews with...Burke I think it was? He would answer questions put forth by members of this forum. If Edu were to do something like this, it would help prevent bigots hi-jacking what is a good idea.
  13. I don't have an issue with Adam as much as I do McCulloch. Adam has proven before he can come in a do a job for us. Fair enough it's not consistent, and when he isn't playing good, he is playing terribly... But McCulloch offers nothing. Apparrently he is some sort of magician in the air. I've yet to be shown why. He's been accomodated and asked to play in several roles within the squad, none of which he has he really shone in. Gow, never seen him enough in our first team to really comment.
  14. I wil tell you who gives a fuck, its the young kids who are the future of the game who get bored at watching games where teams defend. No wonder when kids watch games on TV they get up and go out and play with their pals. I agree minstral footballs about winning and entertaining, great players thats what pulls you in every week [or it used to], wouldnt it be great to go and watch a Cooper, Gazza, Laudrup, Henderson, Baxter etc. AGAIN. For football to continue you need youngsters coming through both as players and fans, and theres got to be a reason for wanting to go every week the names not enough on its own. Put it this way, if you payed the guts of 60 quid [because thats what I,d pay to watch a game at Ibrox when you take in all expenses], to watch a band and the guitarist was playing out of tune and hitting bum notes, the singer got his timing and word mixed up, would you be happy would you go back, prob not so why should football be any different, your there to be entertained[as well as winning], people pay thousands over the course of a season to watch their team of course they want value for money. I don't know about you, but when Rangers win any match, regardless of how it is done...I am entertained. The football we played in the run to the Uefa Cup Final wasn't the prettiest but it worked and I enjoyed every minute of it. Vs Sporting, two or three good pieces of football, two of which were goals - I was fucking jiggin! Vs Werder, THAT save had me almost in tears! Vs Fiorentina, King Carlos was absolutely immense. If you were not excited by any of this then I have to question your support for Rangers. If you were excited by it, stop suggesting the football we play is absolutely shite.
  15. Wales have 2 million..less than 50% of us,yet their top team has old firm players..sorry,you are wrong,we are level with, Wales,Norway,Denmark,Iceland.. and ex russian states,in other words..ROTTEN.. we will be out by xmas..just like all other scottish sides. I'm sorry, but who do they have? Chris Burke? He was phenomenal wasn't he!? Get a grip. How you can compare Rangers to Cardiff because Cardiff purchased an overrated money grabbing shitebag is beyond me.
  16. I don't understand this. Papac was one of our more consistent performers at the beginining of the season and perhaps throughout the whole season, bar Boogie. He was praised for being "Solid". Now, he's not "solid" ?
  17. The clip is Rod Wallace vs Borussia Dortmund Oh, was that the one with like 25 passes or something? Beautiful football.
  18. Can't see any clips...But surely Hateley's vs Leeds?
  19. Really good article. Especially good to see the likes of Thommo and Naismith getting back to full fitness hopefully soon. I accept a lot of what Walter has said. There were times last season where we played pretty good football. However it was inconsistant and the left side of midfield is going to cause problems until it is sorted. But I am looking forward to seeing Thommo, Naismith and Lafferty next season as I believe we will notice a significant improvement in their performances. As far as the Champions League goes, I expect to qualify for the last 16. And I believe Walter can achieve that, whether he plays 4-5-1 or not. I can't believe people even question this formation when it so blatantly worked for us in Europe the season before last. Feel free to question playing 4-5-1 against Aberdeen, but whether you like it or not, at this stage, we are not going to play the likes of Lyon or Stuttgart off the park with silky passing movements and individual flair.
  20. I cannot believe this player is getting ripped in this thread. I cannot believe that Lafferty has been ripped in this thread. And I cannot believe, that even after being told agents will whore their players to both halves of the old firm...People still cannot understand why "Celtic go for our targets"!
