Cannot disagree at all. I won't speak ill of McCulloch or criticise his attitude because he has always tried for our club and loves our club and really, the blame lies at the manager's door for continued selection of someone who is not good enough. I cannot understand why anyone would have wanted to drop Ness. Any other team in the country, teams in England, Spain...All show confidence in their youth. Why can we not let our youth flourish on the pitch. Experience can only be aquired by experiencing different games, different opposition, different circumstances. If they fail in any aspect, highlight it, if it continues...Drop them!

We certainly did not lie down. We had the opportunity to take the lead at one point. It was not pretty to watch in terms of attacking football but we did not concede until the 72nd minute. Think it is unfair to suggest we lay down. With the squad we had at the time there really was no other way. Had Smith decided to go on the attack and we had been beaten badly, the response from fans towards the management would have been terrible.

Whilst I hate the fact that after winning a championship, we are still living in hope that we qualify for the Champions League, I cannot see it ever changing now. The tournament is very attractive. There are so many teams now that are capable of winning the Champions League, whether they won their domestic title or not. Think we have it bad? Champions in Holland can find themselves playing a qualifier whilst the runners up can go straight into the Champions League, depending on playoffs. Imagine that were the same scenario between Rangers and Celtc!

I don't believe there was any chance of us winning the final in Manchester had we gone out to attack. The squad we had at the time, whilst successful, is nothing compared to what we have now, imo. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The defensive setup served us well not only in the Uefa cup that season, but in the "Group of Death" in the Champions League.

You aren't British, you're Northern Irish. I was told this one other night on this forum. Can't you be both? I was told I couldn't. As it is Great Britain and Northern Ireland, we are part of the UK but not part of Britain. Therefore technically we are not British. This is what I was informed of one night anyway. I am aware that the "Great" in Great Britain always referred to Scotland, England and Wales as this is the biggest island. So I imagine Northern Ireland is in fact British, but only Scotland, England and Wales are meant when someone says "Great Britain". Generally whenever the United Kingdom is being discussed, it is the "United Kingdom & Northern Ireland" that is used. I cannot say I have ever seen or heard someone saying "Great Britain & Northern Ireland" or even "Britain & Northern Ireland" when referring the the countries as a whole. Mind you, I have not exactly been looking for this. So, I would suggest that you are British. Perhaps someone doesn't like you suggesting you are British because they simply have an agenda against British rule or they are just being awkward.

As he turns around to view what's going on, he see's Brown's head lower into Lafferty's chest.
