  1. Was in the Sauchiehall St branch yesterday - the Rangers kit used to be the first merchandise you saw on the left going down into the store - now tucked away in the far left corner - and more worryingly the first strip you see in the distance on the back wall is a "hooped forces of darkness strip". The JJB brand seems to be dying a slow death (you can see it from the poor state of the shops - poor merchadising, displays etc) - looking at it from purely a customer's point of view. I realise we are tied into the deal - but there has to be a better way to promote the brand. Since the dedicated JJB Rangers shop in Argyle St closed - the remaining 2 JJB stores (excluding the Stadium one) are sub surface (ie below street level) - so they don't really have a window display - how can you effectively promote a brand when shoppers don't see the mechandise when walking past!! It baffles me that the club don't bring more pressure on JJB (although maybe they don't want to and to see JJB fail) I know little about the deal with JJB - but as I said above - from a customer's point of view - it is clearly not working - and saddens me to see our strip marketed in the way it is being done now!!!
  2. Well at least we had poppies on the jersey - not like the the other lot!!!
  3. In my lifetime -Steven Pressley - arrogant mercenary (who thought he was better than he was)
  4. I appreciate what you are saying - but they never even showed the sequence of events that the main camera must have picked up that led to the incident!!!
  5. Well - surprise surprise - not shown on the BBC online highlight - who'd have guessed that!!!!
  6. Can't remember who it was he tackled in the second half (Stokes or the Tranny) - he just stood in front of him and he bounced off - anyone have a gif of it - wasn't on the BBC highlights?
  7. Falkirk Grahamston is a bit closer (but the service from Glasgow is not as good)
  8. Can anyone confirm that we get a small percentage of the fee Arsenal pay for Arteta - some rule relating to him being with us when he was under the age of 23?
  9. I am expecting an away ticket for the San Giro to hit £50 this season!
  10. ESPN are covering the home leg - according to their website ESPN Fixtures
  11. I have it on good authority that McCoist visits it from time to time (but can't confirm if its been damaged)
  12. At least not where there is beer & football involved - just make sure you don't stray into enemy territory across the Main Street!!!
  13. Doubt it - normally only for OF games, but I wouldn't roll up right at ko!!! Won't be there myself - Season ticket loyal!!!
  14. The Two Chimneys in the Main Street is showing the game (formerly Lyle's) - they have a sign in the window!
  15. Will be there on Tuesday as I signed up for CCS - won't be shelling out for the Chelsea game - I can afford it - but struggle with the fact that a league game is being cancelled to allow it to be played - I appreciate the club has to "maximise it's revenue streams" - but sorry - I won't be fleeced this time. As for attendance on Tuesday - maybe 25,000 if we are lucky!
  16. Live Football on TV website does not list it as being covered (does not necessarily mean it won't though) - interestingly the Blackpool games is being shown "behind enemy lines" so streams may be available for that one http://www.livesportontv.com/football/
  17. The game has a Sat 3.00pm k.o - same time as other league games - I thought that there was some regulation that did not allow live football on the TV on a Sat afternoon (or has that been changed?)
  18. Can you not just here the frothing at the mouth from across the city when you check out the 11 signatories :-)
  19. More skill in his wee toe than several Rangers squads put together - Advocaat accused him and Tugay of playing "circus" football - Genius!!
  20. Amato from 6 inches from the bye line 5(ish) yards out - and still puts it away v you know who!
  21. Excuse me while I try to avoid swallowing the hook!!!!!
  22. Bottom Line - Good enough for us, and seems to want to be here.
  23. Quote of the day from Radio 5 Live from Colin Murray - "Helicopter Sunday - they can put it on a bus and it'll still get there on time"
