  1. Does anyone have a number or email address for Jim Hannah?
  2. Hi guys, I'm looking for help in who to contact at Rangers regarding a charity event. My work have a stand up to cancer event every year and last year we raised over 10k. This year we have asked for donations from football clubs, Rangers, Celtic, Partick Thistle etc and they have all donated match tickets, tours, even a tour of Hampden by the Scottish football museum but we haven't given anything. I know the club get requests like this every day but I am quite embarrassed that we haven't given anything, even last year they gave is a tour of Ibrox for 4 people. Does anyone know if there is anyone I can contact directly to speak to, even if I need to pay something toward it? Cheers Del
  3. Lazy lazy journalism... Culpable for 2 of the goals against Hibs? Nowhere near the ball for the 1st and Wallace is to blame for the 2nd in my opinion...the 3rd he tries to fill in for McCulloch, Peratla and Moshni get nowhere near the guy at the front post and McCulloch loses the runner at the end of the box! I dont think hes done anything wrong at RB and I dont want Foster playing there!
  4. Aird at RWB...Moshni if Clarke isnt fit...
  5. If never understood the myth that if people are sitting down they wont sing?! Have a standing section and the place will be bouncing...no it wont! The good thing about away games is the fans tend to be a bit more open to singing, getting one over on the home support, most teams home support is nothing like its away following, and as much as I would like it to be the same, there are too many people who go to games and are happy not to get involved. By all means have a standing section but there are still going to be 20-30k that wont join in unless its against a Celtic etc
  6. If you mean Walsh, apparently he was on international duty?
  7. I was at the Stenny game on Saturday and Robbie Crawford was very, very ordinary and ended up being hooked! I was talking to Scott Booth and he said Walsh is the best player he has worked with and is clearly head and shoulders above that level and that they were really surprised to get him.
  8. I am all for a bit of positivity and mixing things up a but but I think this is a little bit far fetched... Little and Scott Gallagher are 25, Ross Perry is 24...I wouldn't consider them "youth or youngsters" Guys like Hegarty, Naismith and Hutton were played out of necessity and quickly dropped...they were good enough but guess what a few of them were all given length contract extensions wasting more money!!
  9. I honestly can't remember him putting a foot wrong at RB and I have been to every game this season! I think he gets exposed a lot by Aird/Temps not helping him out defensively but I definitely don't think RB is a position we are desperate to replace, although I do fear Foster replacing him if he did pick up a knock. I remember him playing against Celtic at CB a few season ago and he was unbeatable but I don't think we will see him at CB unless its as a back 3!
  10. What' is everyone's initial thoughts on McGregor? I have to put my hands up; when we were linked with him a few seasons ago (pre-injury) I wasn't happy and didnt think he was anywhere near good enough for to play for Rangers, but in the first few weeks of the season I have been really impressed with him! He is obviously not a right back but I don't think he has let anyone down playing there and actually gets forward well to help out! He is a bit of a monster and built like a tank but he has a bit of pace and isn't scared to go in for a tackle, he reminds me a lot of Broadfoot somehow but that might just be the St Mirren, CB at RB, thing... I seen a thread earlier and people were saying RB is a priority for us in the next transfer windows but although he is 29 I think he has been really good for us so far and would rather we signed a CB and maybe a winger over a RB. I know a few of us where I sit weren't too keen on him but he is definitely winning people over as the games go by...Keep it up big man!!
  11. I've been saying this for a while; I think he's been out best players in the opening part of the season, brings a bit of pace and urgency to our play, lets hope he keeps it up. Yet you go into the match thread and people want him dropped for Miller?!? Wonder if some of the people on here actually watch us play regularly...
  12. I don't know what you mean, Clarke has scored more goals this season than Miller and brings more to the team overall! His partnership with Boyd has been one of the good things to happen in the early season!
  13. Why does Miller have to play when fit? Nicky Clarke was deservedly man of the match against Queen of the South and have played really well the last few games, but want to drop him for a player who has done nothing since joining?
  14. I had someone come to me, my season ticket seat I've had for years, and said I was in his seat... When I looked at his ticket it was for GF1, Row P, Seat 30, but when I tried to explain to him there was no seat 30 he went mental and the steward ended up taking him back to the ticket office! He said it was the 2nd time in 2 games he had been given a duplicate or invalid seat!
  15. Reading this post makes angry but sad at the same time... I am a protestant and against independence but we live in a different time now, Rangers are the quintessential British club, but the days of Rangers fans being staunch loyalist and only protestants are long gone! I know that me and most of my mates will go to games, sing the odd song, etc but most people grow out of it and younger generations simply aren't interested, the Orange Order is in decline and has been for years! There's no denying that those values played a huge part in where Rangers are just now but they don't apply to me. If people want to vote yes for independence then good for them, if you want to label them cretins then that's up to you, but people cant complain about them canvassing at a football match when every other week people sing "shove your independence up your arse", "if you hate Alex Sammond clap your hands" its embarrassing!
  16. He didn't say that, he was misquoted and the quickly challenged the reporter when he realised this! Bench him for me!
  17. I dont know how anyone who watched the game can say it wasnt a red card! 2-3 players had already put the boot in to Templeton, he done the boy then he chopped him down, no attempt to win the ball just to half him! Definite red
  18. This video shows you why we signed Kris Boyd! We should playing to his strengths and putting plenty of crosses into the box and through balls not lumping the ball 50 yards from the defense to him. Those saying he is "lazy", "immobile" etc look at some of those goals... 0:26 seconds into the video; he doesn't look lazy or immobile when scoring that goal...the very next goal on around 0:49 seconds; again a good turn of pace and a good finish...1:09 seconds he plays a brilliant 1-2 and uses his pace and strength to get past the defenders and score...then again at 5:55 seconds he shows good pace and a bit of skill before another good finish! Don't get me wrong he scores a lot from inside the box (headers etc.) but its too easy to brandish him lazy and past it when really he could be very good for us for a couple of seasons yet! On a slight side track, the young boy MacKenzie looks very good!
  19. Im delighted Boyd is back and I think he looks in better shape than he ever was at us before! On a side note, Rory MacKenzie looks like a good wee player in these hightlights.
  20. I was just about to post this! I love Davie Weir but some people just take it too far...on Perry though, he had his chance and didnt take it. Simply wasnt good enough.
  21. 19 goals for a team in the bottom half of the Premiership, knows what the club is about and as a player he is looking the fittest and most mobile he has been in years...and people are saying no? A much better option than Little or Daly, No brainer for me! Little should be let go at the end of the season.
  22. I thought it was pretty cringe worthy at times yesterday! Both singing different songs at the same time, and T.B.O singing a song about "support the team, not the regime" but then going on to sing that the club is in the wrong hands, no to independence and if you hate alex salmond clap your hands?? Supporting the team right enough then eh... Get it to fuck!
  23. He was gutted to have scored against Utd, but his goal didn't relegate them!
  24. On a side note, his rating is not 86!!!
