  1. Nasri played over 40 games for City in his first season and almost 40 games last season, despite being injured, and in total 9 appearances were made as a sub.
  2. Am not a smoker but surely you can have one before the game and then have one after it? Its only an hour and a half!!
  3. I dont understand how anyone can say they expect us to win it!! Our record against SPL teams has beating Motherwell and being pumped by Inverness. I doubt much of the team we have now will be here when we are back in the SPL but I would be very surprised if we do and I would be aiming for European finish in our 1st season back. Our home form should win us more games than now.
  4. I dont get it? Although is that fat guy wearing a blazer with cotton trackie bottoms on?
  5. I also heard a rumour that Green has sourced a consortium of investors from Asia who want to invest millions into the club and will eventually become majority shareholders; but they will only agree to it if we change our kit and agree to wear a tartan strip (they were pushing for kilts but the UEFA have said its against the rules), They also want to change our logo...they want a creature, which runs around on four legs called Broxi the Haggis, to be chewing on a thistle and playing a set of tartan bagpipes all mounted on a Saltire background!I heard this from a very good source and he has heard it directly that green has already agreed to this and will use his influence on the board to push this through, making himself and Craig Whyte millions!Green is the enemy and he must be made to leave our club now before it is too late!
  6. I'm sure a player can play as a trialist a maximum of three times and the Ramsdens cup counts as one as well! As others have said, Peralta cant play as a trialist as his registration wasnt held in Scotland, but I agree with your post... Law is at the heart of everything we do recently, hopefully Shiels and Temps when he is back can fill the gap until Law is back. **Just found the link for the trialist rules on the Rangers site*** http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/item/4573-trialists-rules-explained No player can play more than three matches in the SPFL as a trialist. Those three matches are in addition to any appearance in the Ramsdens Cup
  7. So it is! Hopefully he can get some games at the end of the month because I think that Daly and Law will be used as much as they can!
  8. One thing I would say is that I sat in Broomloan for a few seaon's a couple of years ago and The Blue Order never done anything like this that I can remember.. The band used to be in with them and they just got on with trying to create a better atmosphere; not be directed by the chief puppeteer and whatever agenda they serve/follow, or try to be an "Ultra" with chanting and flares! I think some people could be tarring the whole group with the same brush!
  9. I was cringing at points today listening to them! Half of the people chanting/singing are daft wee boys that don't know any better but because other people are singing they join in and that is what the UB/BO done today people who couldn't tell you a single thing about the goings on at board level joined in with the UB/BP because they think they should. Like it or not the groups have a certain influence over some of the fans and to start bring banners out against the club, board etc is a step too far, I'm sure the players and that are really motivated when they here people singing, "Charlie get to fuck"... I will say one thing, as much as people on this board and other boards spout there shite about picking sides, time to fight, green out, blah blah blah...I think it was shown today that of all the fans at the game only a very small minority got involved in the anti-green, sack the board stuff and as they say so often its the fans that matter...the same fans that decided not to get involved! No supporter trust, fan group, teenage kids with banner and flags speak for me and today was quite frankly embarrassing!
  10. I thought it was brilliant, Carragher didnt really know how to work the Skypad but I thought the concept of him and Neville was brilliant!
  11. Just been announced that Sandy Jardine will do it! Terrific gesture by the club!!
  12. Surely its about looking at the bigger picture here? For Green to make any serious money the club will have to be back playing in the top league and maybe even in Europe, I cant see him selling his shares for anything less than 50p (I'm sure he has said that?) but the bigger picture is the club will be in a much better position! If Green and his team can get us back to our best and he makes a few million from it then good on him, the end result is a healthy Rangers!
  13. Was on the Rangers site there and noticed that the, "Bear Huts" are back... I remember going to these with my grandad to buy the scarfs that came out during European games but I couldn't think the last time they were there, anyone got any idea? I think its a good move by the club but will it really make a difference? A lot of the street traders sell t-shirts and scarfs that the club wouldn't be able to, but I would rather pay the money to the club than the street traders! Just hope the prices arent too high although from the picture on the link scarfs are £8 so only a few quid more and going directly to the club. Anyone think they will take off? 14. Although I agree with your point, your argument doesn't really hold up... He is building his own team and signings like Clark, Law and Mohsni are the type of signings we should be making, but although he has made 8 signings Cribari and Argyriou haven't been replaced and Black still appears to be a first pick. I agree we needed a good few bodies but the key areas that need to be strengthened haven't been!
  15. I think that Daly and Law should start every game they are fit, if they are playing well, but remember they can only play a maximum of 3 games as a trialist and the Ramsden cup games count as well... We have 5 games (I think) before September so I would think that Clark will get at least 2-3 games in the coming weeks.
  16. Why would Green do that? Hes a business man and has no real love for Rangers; aye if the club has more money and things improve off the pitch the share price may increase, but he has nothing to benefit from doing that!
  17. Why wont we see him until September? He can play this weekend if Ally chooses him!
  18. I thought he has been decent...people will have different opinions, the past 2 games ive been at people have been saying Daly is awful but his link up play has been excellent! I would put Andy Little back out on the right but we have chopped and changed formation so I dont really know, wouldnt do him any harm to sit out a few though.
  19. I think Nicky Clark could be one of our best signings this season! Guys like Daly, Law and Mohsni have made the headlines but I think we are onto a winner with Clark. He has looked good in pre-season and again last night he stood out for me, he looked fast and looked really good off the ball, his touch was decent and he done really well to win the penalty... Plus he has already proven himself in this division and scored a load of goals last season and I would start him before the mis-firing Little on Saturday, although I don't know what the team will shape up like with the trialist restrictions. I know that Mohsni has done really well whenever I have seen him and I hope that Nicky gets the chance to show us what he can do, hopefully upfront!
  20. If your mum had not dropped her pants the night you were conceived would you still be here? Or would your dad have fired you into a sock? All If's but's and maybe's... Stupid answer for a nonsense question and thread!
  21. Im sure the exam results were being posted out today...maybe they got grounded for failing their exams??
  22. I don't think Charles Green has done anything wrong! He doesn't shirk away from accusations and gives as good as he gets, I'm not saying Mather would or is a worse Chief Executive than Green but I think its a shame that he is not on the board anymore. On another note I actually like this reporter, he knows what he is talking about and isnt afraid to ask hard questions, good interview!
  23. A protest, what a brilliant idea that is... At least we know that protesting has worked in the past! Oh wait...
  24. Does anyone think it would be a good idea if the managers of the under teams followed them through the ages groups? I dont think this already happens just now but surely they would have a better idea of a young players potential, strengths, weaknesses etc that someone who picks them up in the reserves/u-20 league whatever it is these days?
