Jelavic will absolutely destroy him.

Tokely would really come into his own on the European stage

Will Barcelona fans be banned from Europe and their club fined?
blyth replied to GOAT's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
You seem to think I'm on some sort of crusade to have Barcelona punished here for this isolated incident. The point in my post was to highlight the opaque nature of the work that FARE do, and how they seem to conveniently pick and choose which clubs to report. It was abundantly clear that racism was present, yet it's very unlikely that they will report Barcelona to UEFA. Why is that? That's my point. In any case, even if I did feel strongly about this one issue, and was offended by it, an e-mail or letter to UEFA would achieve very little. Therefore, posting about it on this forum to discuss it was the option I chose. Surely that's reasonable? -

Fair point. I think it would certainly benefit everyone if there was a level of transparency about their work though. -

So you believe there is consistency in the work that FARE carry out? -

Poor wee Mourinho supporter? You have absolutely missed the point. I raised the issue because it highlights the hypocrisy and inconsistency of FARE. Action won't be taken against Barcelona or Real Madrid because it doesn't fit in with their agenda. After racist chanting in the first leg, shouldn't they have had one of their entirely 'neutral' observers at the second leg? -

Yeah, definitely. Just after he chased back and fouled Messi towards Madrid's right back position. I thought it was pretty clear. Monkey chants. -

Not to mention the racist chanting at Adebayor. -
I think Puncheon is a good player. Pacey, direct, few tricks.....he's comfortably better than any other option we have at left midfield. I'd rather have David Vaughan but if Puncheon is going for a reasonable price, I wouldn't be averse to the idea of us signing him. Mirror football isn't the most reliable of sources right enough.

Garry Kenneth is one of the worst defenders I think I've ever seen. He makes at least 2 howlers a game. Utter shite.

Dundee United haven't beaten them at Parkhead since 1992 apparently. And are 11/1 on skybet to win. Home win, sadly.

That was a terrific second half performance, could easily have been 8 or 9. Naismith will struggle to match those 2 goals for the rest of his career, absolutely stunning double! -
What a classless bastard Arsene Wenger truly is. Why was he having a go at Dalglish? For having the audacity to celebrate a 100th minute equaliser?!
-
I can't believe I just saw Marek Hamsik's name mentioned. Why not suggest Cavani aswell, that's just as unrealistic!
-
I couldn't be more against that suggestion if I tried! Benni McCarthy would make James Beattie seem like Didier Drogba! A fat, uninterested charlatan who hasn't done a single thing of note in the past 3 years. It's a no from me

Just read John Hartsons article in the sun...

Anyone got a link to that hilarious article he wrote last season or the season before where he basically said Celtic were better than us in every position? I think it was just before an Old Firm game. It has to be seen to be believed, the guy is an absolute cretin. -
I thought the fans were absolutely phenomenal tonight. I can't remember a single moment in the 90mins when I couldn't hear them belting out a song, and the backing they gave the players was crucial. A victory was the least they deserved. I take my hat off to every single person that made the trip up there, you did us proud tonight

Jelavic Overhead Kick vs Aberdeen (video)

That is a stunning finish. He really is a class act. -
The Gomez debate remind me of the Boyd one, all be it on a bigger stage. His goalscoring record this season has undoubtedly been excellent but, for me, his all round play is still well short of being world class. Case in point, this season. I was at the Bayern - Kaiserslautern game and was deliberately watching him closely, because I wanted to see if he had improved at all from the previous few seasons. In my opinion, he hasn't; still clumsy on the ball, lacking in pace and picks the wrong pass very often. But still, he scored a hat trick! Admittedly all 3 goals were very simple but I guess you have to applaud his positioning and anticipation. Just can't take to him at all though.

Mario Gomez.

That's fantastic mate Malignaggi has pillows for hands, his KO % must be lower than 10. Guerrero talking about fighting Mayweather after his win at the weekend, surely too big a step up? Mayweather would love it though, another much lighter boxer that he would dominate easily.
-
Haha that's fantastic mate. Foster is horrific though, he's hard to watch at times. His crossing is absolutely shocking and just about every winger that has come up against him has skipped past him with consummate ease. His positional sense is pathetic and if it wasn't for his pace, he'd be playing in the 3rd division. There was a cross he put in today that Jelavic tried to header towards goal. It was so flat and curling away from goal, about 20 yards out. His typical crossing style. What the hell is a striker supposed to do with that?! Absolutely pish.

What an abject performance this is. Those possession stats made for grim reading. -
Jarvis has been linked with Liverpool. No chance we would get him for £5m either. Really good player though, could have snapped him up on the cheap from Gillingham too.
