  1. Absolutely nowhere near good enough. I'd be gutted if we even considered signing him.
  2. The OP is bang on the money Definitely time for our so called 'big name' players like Davis to be dropped for sub-par performances, week after week. Matt McKay deserves a chance in a more central role. There is just not a chance that he can be worse than the three we had in there today. And wouldn't it be nice to see us put in a good corner from time to time? That aimless, floated nonsense that we have seen from Davis for the past 3+ years is absolutely dreadful.
  3. Teflon Steve. An excellent player but an awful manager. His record is dreadfully poor. Plus, anyone who signs Nicklas Bendtner deserves to be sacked for that alone. Not to mention spending a fortune on Conor Wickham and then hardly playing him!
  4. Dreadful post. Jelavic had no service all day. You say he had no link up play with anyone? Who was available to link up with?! The guy is a good player but he can't just do it on his own without any service. And if you read the quotes from Jelavic, he didn't actually say the league was over. But it wouldn't be like the press to twist his words and get a headline out of it though would it?
  5. We are so predictable and one-paced. It's awful to watch.
  6. Yeah, I'd agree with that. Davis hasn't stamped his authority on a game for weeks. And Edu just goes through stages of being less shit than usual. He was back to his old self today. Our only tactic today was give the ball to Broadfoot, let him cut inside and launch a long ball in the general direction of the strikers. It was embarrassing. And to be dominated on the possession stats at home against St Johnstone is truly dreadful. They are just a hard-working team, no more than that.
  7. Absolutely terrible. Edu and Davis did NOTHING today.
  8. Played left back for the past few months. It has been Stephens and O'Hanlon at centre half. I agree that he's definitely better at centre half though. Doesn't look convincing at full back at all.
  9. Paul Hanlon at left back is dreadful. He always gets himself square on with the winger, who can then just skip past him with ease. He's the same when he plays there for Hibs. Really poor, and he's the captain aswell.
  10. Scandalous decision. 8-4 for Pacquiao on one of the scorecards? I genuinely cannot believe that. Boxing stinks.
  11. Haha, that is astonishing. I'd love for him to qualify that by listing the rounds that he actually thought Katsidis won. As much as he's excellent at setting a high pace and putting on pressure, he's the most one-dimensional fighter in the world and was eating so many combos from Burns on the way in, round after round. There was no real quality about Kat's work for the most part, just effort. For this guy to say that he 'boxed beautifully'? Nah, not having that at all. Sour grapes in the extreme.
  12. Whittaker was quoted a few weeks back saying he grew up as a Hearts fan.
  13. Just outstanding today. An absolute credit, yet again.
  14. Likewise. My mate was raving about him, says they would love to keep him for the rest of the season. I reckon a move to another SPL club for the second half of the season would be a far more beneficial move for both Hutton and Rangers.
  15. My initial reaction when I saw the thread title was also Gary Hooper. Even the most basic sentence seems to be a struggle for him! Notable mentions to Steve Claridge and Paul Merson aswell.
  16. Sunderland are absolutely dire. Norwich are battering them here. Could end up 3 or 4-0. Steve Bruce really has made some shocking signings. He won't be in the job much longer. Dreadful manager.
  17. Ricky Burns has relinquished the super-featherweight title to challenge for the WBO Lightweight title. He's fighting Michael Katsidis in November at the Kelvin Hall. Definitely going to try and get along to that. Burns will probably get blasted out early but I'd love to see Katsidis live.
  18. Broadfoot did fine today. Still not good enough going forward but did well defensively.
  19. That was a farce. Might aswell just let Frank Warren judge these fights. Not a chance should Cox have won that. Disgusting.
  20. Yes, it's hugely unrealistic. Cleverly started for Man Utd in their first game of the season and has recently been called up to the England squad. Absolutely no chance he's going out on loan.
  21. McMillan was excellent today. Would love to see him get a run in the team. Perry was very good aswell.
  22. He was a complete joke tonight. Couldn't have been any less impartial if he tried. The Tokely handball is as clear a penalty as you will ever see, for Houston to say it would have been soft just shows what a sad, bitter little man he is. Can't wait until we get the chance to smash a few past his side and make the cunt suffer. I absolutely hate him.
  23. Agreed. Drogba on form is pretty much unplayable. He's got everything in his locker.
  24. I saw that mate. Pathetic wasn't it? It was as if they were lining up some unheard of, 18 year old from brazil. Typical arrogance from the English media. Jadson has been playing in the Champions League for years and has been in a lot of the recent Brazil squads!
  25. Matt Derbyshire has been released by Olympiacos apparently. I haven't seen too much of him, but from what I have, he looks like a clinical finisher with decent movement. Could be a good foil for Jelavic.
