  1. Would a new manager play a 40 year old Weir though? Clearly he realises that.
  2. Sun making up headlines no-were does it say he is off The average Sun reader only reads the headlines. And looks at the pictures.
  3. I think it was a lot of shite.
  4. He has to be loaned out. The lads development has been irreperably stunted and he will be 19 when the new season begins. Walter clearly doesnt fancy youth which is my only qualm with him, he seems to think no futher than the current weekend which is dangerous in our position. A loan next season is the only way this lad can revive a career at a good level.
  5. He will stay. im sure of it
  6. wont happen. I could see us rejecting a 2m+ bid for him (again)
  7. Another Scottish prospect wasted, chasing the English buck.
  8. Hibs are having a singing section in their new stand. Supporter groups arranged it with the club. Obviously helps if your stadium is being redeveloped at the time.
  9. Good stuff. Although i'd rather Smith hung up the reigns at the end of the season. Hes a great man manager and is getting us through a tough spell but we will only go side ways. Everyone here pretends like the majority didnt say they wanted shot of him last year amd no doubt ill be met with grief for this post by those same people. I just can go Lee McCulloch being a guaranteed starter and captain no matter what for the next three seasons, which will happen. As well as our kids been left to rot in the reserves.
  10. Anyone know how bad the injury is? Hes been injured probably about 9 months out of the last 2 seassons. Not a good indicator. Injuries might stop him making it. Hes nearly 19 and lost crucial development time.
  11. Actually, neither played against Falkirk. Would assume both's seasons are finished then. Shame. Ness has had a bad time injuries.
  12. Will we see him? If not against Celtic then Well. Really frustrated as Smith said back in December he was next to come through. Hes more than capable physically. Smith needs to think for the future. League wrapped up and we're still starting Novo who will more than likely be away in the summer when we could be blooding a player that will have use next season.
  13. LOL, no get real. Theres been reviews and think tanks before. Nothing ever changes. football is dead up here.
  14. Mate, any change will not happen as a few greedy chairmen will cling to their extra old firm visits. The long term game means nohing to these idiots. Even if the authorities take the initiative (which they already have) nothing will ever happen as it will be Vetoed by these clubs. Also you can't expect a supporter to feel affiliation with a newly formed club rather than his local one. If amalgamation occurs, wee team supporters will become old firm fans, which gets us nowhere.
  15. Bet this injury does him for good knowing our luck.
  16. He only left Celtic youth/reserves like 2-3 years ago also.
  17. Cracking player, although having done cruciates on both legs he might not be the player he could have been. Hope that doesn't shorten his career in his late 20s (i.e. leg giving way). Just very unlucky in that department.
  18. Why would a striker beat at his peak at the age of 21? He could improve a lot if he joined us, and I hope he does. I just don't think hes much special. Plus his a wee ned, his attitude will be his downfall. And with Fleck apparently fancying himself abit as a man about town then the last thing he needs is a drinking buddy to get him into fights. What because he holds his weight for his height ? nonsense, hes not at the peak of his game, as somewhere else stated earlier boyd's stats at killie were no where near how good he has been here. and thats because hes playing in a better team. so im sure goodwillie would benefit from that too, and hes also a big gers fan, and im sure if walter told him do to something he would listen, i see no reason why his attitude wouldnt see him come here. Its not about how he conducts himself on the pitch, mate, hes brought in on charges of assualt twice in the last year or something. He sparked out a bouncer. Says alot imo.
  19. So you know want to play for Scotland now you've grown out of your plastic provo phase? Or is it that you have no realised you will never get in a ROI squad? Regardless, the lad is not good enough.

  21. I guess that daft ruling is away that you can't play for Scotland if you don't play for a school team (as pro youth don't allow you to play for your school team).
