  1. Players all over the world do it. No big deal, hes hardly inciting a riot. Clearly started this thread hoping to get brownie points, you failed. Not everyone is as easily offended as yourself.
  2. We produce lots of talented youngsters but our management team are so against youth.
  3. Waste of time if we aint gonna play them though In a year or so we may have a coach who will play them Doubtful.
  4. Hopefully Smith and co are gone by the team he turns 17-18 so he can have half a chance at a career.
  5. Boyd will stay with Rangers on an improved contract. Hes going nowhere.
  6. And I knew Fleck wouldn't get a start up front...
  7. A good youngster should be appear sporadically by the age of 17 in terms of diddy cup starts and a dozen or so sub apperances. He should then begin to start more league games at 18. We play in one of the poorest leagues in the developed world, other nations blood youngsters at far younger in much more competitive leagues. Loy won't make a career here, he is in his 20 and has been ruined. If he does hes an exception. Good youngsters must be playing regularly at least by the end of their teens or they are ruined. Its only in Scotland and to a great extent at Rangers that you have once promising "youngsters" in their early 20s having made a number of appearances for the first team they could count on one hand.
  8. Good stuff, love to see people abroad getting involved (for the record I still consider us a Scottish club firstly as well as a British one).
  9. Will be Lee as a solo striker, no chance he will start Fleck up front.
  10. I'd like to hope so but can't even imagine it.
  11. As I said in the other thread, I don't think anyone should be dropped. Perhaps rest Weir if we have an easier game before a big one and put Wilson in, put Fleck on for Boyd or Miller as soon as we comfortable in game - that sort of thing. Basically, just more game time. The thing with Wilson, where he came in for the CL games and played really well, yet didn't get one minute of time on the park over a nine game spell before the Old Firm game, really annoyed me. We knew we were losing Bougherra for that game and during that run, we were regularly three up with half an hour to go - why oh why wasn't Wilson given a run out to get ready for the scum game? Because Walter doesn't care how he leaves us in terms of youth. He would rather 3-0 than risk 3-1 on his record setting us up for the future.
  12. On a serious note, I hope Alan gets a move away, hes almost gone to waste completely down there.
  13. Should go in the summer regardless and let a young innovative manager come in that can help fulfill our plan to produce our own top class players.
  14. Fleck will be thinking me might have to go elsewhere to get game time in his preferred postition. I thought he looks sharp when he came on, although he knows he has to score a hatrick in the 10 minutes hes usually given to even get a sniff at a start, so its understandable why he looks nervous/trying to hard. Wilson on the other hand if he keeps getting a game, would be truly mental to leave. He can leave in a few years with 80 odd SPL starts and a dozen Champtions league starts under his belt and still have 10+ years to shine at the highest level.
  15. Was never gonna come back the same player, done in both knees, unrealistic to think so.
  16. Hes going nowhere, lets stop speculating until we here otherwise. Kris Boyd will be here next season.
  17. Did smith not give him his debut....... Nope, Moyes did.
  18. Which cost us alot of money and already had much first team experience. Walter doesn't have this luxury anymore and for the future of the club needs to use the mroe than competence players coming out of MP - but he won't. He has stiffled Flecks progressed so bad its unbelievable. Ness is 19 now. Loy is 21 albiet signed a young age from Killie). I could go on
  19. Rooney would be playing championship/ League 1 football now if Smith had been still manager at Everton. Would never had brought him through.
  20. No I agree with him, Walter's the type of manager who cares more about himself than the club he's working for. He will buy old guys to get the job done just to have success then leave his club in the shite, he done it to us in 9iar, left all aging players and Advocaat had to sign a whole new squad. And he'll do it again only this time weve not got to bob to replace anyone, the sooner he goes the betetr for our future. Exactly what I am saying.
  21. Lets not get on the boys back about this until we know fully whats going on. They both have 18 months left on their contracts.
  22. why not just out of interest? We need to win the league this season more than ever, I get that. But he has absolutely no regard for the long term future of the club. He only thinks about his own record. Hes wasted money on so far failures. The fact that cup games against much lower opposition didn't see the introduction of youth players. Dropping Wilson when he was playing well and above all needed game time when we were at risk of losing Boogie and Weir is on his last legs. Wilson needs as much game time as possible as more than likely he will have to step up as a full first team player next season. He has absolutely no regard for how he leaves us when he goes - in the shit with a squad majorly made up of players lacking basic technical skills in favour of graft and defensive ability, guys on their last legs and a group of once youngsters that have barely played a game by their early twenties.
