  1. Thats basically what we have in Robbie McCrorie, already regarded as one of the best young goalkeepers in Europe at U17 level all the big teams in the premiership wanted to sign him but he chose to sign his first pro contract with us, if our current coaching setup remains he probably wont play for us until he is in his mid 20's. He along with Liam Kelly were the only backup we needed for Bell this season.
  2. I think a lot of our youth are good enough, the trouble is our management wouldn't trust them and went with the quick fix experience route, take the example of our best player to come through the youth in recent years in McLeod he wasn't trusted to play in his natural position but was too good to be left out so was played out of position. We have young defenders who should have been played this season but have been ignored to play experience out of position and strikers who are good enough to play but were ignored to bring back hasbeens, no wonder some of the youth may develop poor attitudes when they see no route into the side no matter how well they perform.
  3. I think he's a goal a game for this season for the under age sides, should have been given a fair chance this season but the dud wanted to top up Boyd and Miller's pensions, that's worked out well.
  4. Out of the three forwards out of contract he would be the only one I would keep, to help bring along our young strikers in Clark, Gallagher and Hardie.
  5. These two lads are only 17 just now so I wouldn't worry about that just yet but they should definately be in and around the first team at some point next season, especially if we get rid of the players we have that are going out of contract this season. Next season McCrorie should be back up to Bell along with Kelly and Hardie should get a good bit of first team experience next season and I don't mean 5 mins here and there that our current coaching setup seams to think is acceptable experience for young players because we saw what Telfer thought of that.
  6. Aird is the poster boy of Sinclairs youth development ethos in give me an athlete and i'll give you a footballer, because Aird is definately an athlete sadly he ain't much of a footballer and the longer he remains at Auchenhowie the more of this type of player we will see coming through.
  7. Hutton is far to slow to play in British fooball needs too long to control the ball then pass it, almost every time I see him recieve a pass by the time he controls it, turns and gets his head up an opposition player steps in and takes it off him or he's under severe pressure and he just boots the ball away. More suited to that over 50's game danderball where players are only allowed to walk and theres no tackling.
  8. I wouldn't say he's terrible, theres a decent player there he's just i'll disciplined and thats a problem for the management if he was told to keep it simple (i.e. don't take players on when last man or try Hollywood passes) obviously McCoist and his coaching staff just told him go out and do your own thing, which he did. Also in almost all of his games his partner has been our captain and it dosen't help when you have to do his job too.
  9. Watched McCrorie in the u17's Euros last summer and even back then he is better than any goalkeeper we currently have even the young boy Hardie is better than any of the forwards we have as well. If we continue to persist with our current coaching setup and not playing players on ability rather than what they earn then these boys careers will be ruined or they will do a Telfer and move on somewhere else.
  10. I agree with you 100% both McCulloch and McGregor are donkeys and playing both together is just asking for trouble, Moshni is by far and away the best of those 3 and with a proper manager who can install discipline in him and get him to play it simple he could be a good centre half for us alongside a dominant organising partner, he has all the attributes needed quick, brave, strong in the air and tackle and technically good he just needs to cut out the aimless long balls and getting caught out too far up the park because his partners have been too poor to be left alone.
  11. The last defender we signed on a free from St Mirren looks like Baresi compared to him and he was a donkey as well, but in all fairness anyone playing at the back with our captain has been made to look like a donkey more often than not.
  12. Sorry, but the only way this side improves is with him out of the team. The team is completely disjointed with him at the back and even more so with him in midfield, in midfield he seems to think he is Barry Ferguson in his prime chasing players down all over the pitch when in all honesty by the time he gets near the opposition the ball is gone and he's left a massive gap in the middle of the park that every side has exposed any time he has played there. The only position he should play for us is centre forward as it is the only one he knows how to play properly. Guys like Boyd and Daly were not needed when we already had McCulloch that showed he could lead the line for us and score goals in the lower leagues and even in the top division when we were in administration.
  13. Ricky Foster, he's like the guy you get in to play 5's to make the numbers up when you cant get anyone else, you give him the ball as a last resort and if he does anything other than give the ball to the opposition or cost you a goal its a minor miracle.
  14. Anyone, a traffic cone, the dummies they use for walls at free kick training both of those options are more mobile than Lee, because of his lack of mobility and know how on playing the position leaves our team so unbalanced because others have to cover too much for his failings thus leaving huge gaps all over the field that every side we play exploits much to our cost. He's been the one common denominator in our shambolic central defence for the last season and a half. Anyway on a serious note since Zaliukas and Moshni are unavailable I would give Faure a run there until either of those two return but in all honesty all our first team defenders are not good enough except Wallace and he's not as good as many on here believe.
  15. I am beginning to think thats the only way we can get him out of the team.
  16. Thats the problem with a lot of the young players we have been bringing through under Sinclair, McLeod has been pretty much the exception rather than the rule (a good athlete and footballer) but if we look at the other one that has come through and became a first team regular in Fraser Aird you can't argue that he's not an athlete but I would argue he's a very poor footballer. We need a philosophy with our youth setup to firstly bring in kids that have the required technical ability then worry about making them athletes rather than the other way around which is our backward mentality. I think if you look at Charlie Adam when we brought him through a very good footballer but a poor athlete, with proper coaching under PLG became a much better athlete but under poor coaching under Walter and Ally he reverted to a poor athlete again.
  17. He's the perfect type of manager we should be looking at and those saying we wouldn't give him time to impliment his ideas we gave Ally 3 and half years to make a James Hunt of it without doing to much to get rid of him. The state we are in now is we want a complete clear out of the coaching staff at Auchenhowie and some in that will have us playing a proper modern footballing style that are prepared to give youth a proper chance and develop the players sell them on and replace from within thus making us more of a self sustainable club in the future, he would be the perfect candidate for us but I think he would already be out of our price range wages and compensation wise especially with what it would cost to remove the current staff under our employ.
  18. Although his natural position is as a striker his best position for us at the moment is as a right sided midfielder because since the traitor Naismith left we have not had anyone play there that has been effective, the best player we have had there in the last 2 1/2 seasons has been Aird and he is scared to take the fullback on and is a poor crosser of the ball and he is also technically quite a poor player (He's basically an athelete playing football) cuts inside all the time and hits poor floaty crosses into the box . Gallagher has shown in the games he played last season and also preseason this season that technically he is a solid player, has pace and isn't afraid to take a defender on and is a very good crosser of a ball (since he is a striker he understands what type of crosses strikers want) and he has also shown that he is still a goal threat from that position IMO he could have a similar impact to the team that Naismith had.
  19. He's just not a central midfielder ( especially in a 2 could possibly get away with it in a 3), played most of his career wide and we would have been a much better side in the last 18 months if he and McLeod switched positions.
  20. What we need for the sake of the club is 50,000 in the stadium telling Ally where to go because thats the only way he'll get the message, because right now with the stadium emptying by the week the only people making any noise are the Ally fanboys and that is all he can hear so he thinks we still support him which is the furthest thing from the truth.
  21. He is and he isn't, most of Allys failings are the same as Walters except a couple of important things, Walters sides were tactically disciplined and all his players would run through brick walls for him, sadly Allys team miss these two very important traits, his sides run around like headless chickens led by the captain who is the biggest headless chicken of the lot and most of his players have a half assed attitude that he should of knocked out of them long ago but I believe he hasn't because he has the very same attitude . I think both are footballing dinosaurs and I'll freely admit I didn't want Walter back as manager 8 years ago because I never liked his style of football and knew when he left he would leave an aging side for the next manager with a neglected and disillusioned youth system, that being said doesn't mean that I never celebrated all his achievements as manager but I rarely enjoyed the way he got them.
  22. How's Ally supposed to be the star man in the five a side games if all the players are fitter and faster than him. We are a team that is a mirror image of the manager lazy, unfit and ill disciplined, if you remember as a player never on time for training and first out the door and he's the one in charge now, it's beyond parody.
  23. They will all be marked as spam and deleted complete waste of time, during the ready to listen questionare in the other comments section I stated Ally would drive away many more fans than the boycotters could ever dream of and i'm sure I wasn't the only one to state this, they weren't ready to listen then and I doubt they are ready now. The only way to get rid is a massive protest (thousands not hundreds) before, during and after the game on Saturday no matter the result or performance.
