Rangers offered very little in the second half against Motherwell, not just lafferty.
Again the majority of the squad was invisible against the tarriers!
Hit the bar & had a goal chopped off for offside in 15 minutes against Dundee.
Didn’t offer much apart from work rate against Villareal? Get real! 1. There’s players who have near enough legendary status almost purely on workrate. 2. It was a backs to the wall performance, and he scored with a very good finish!
Regardless of opinions of him you can’t possibly fault the contribution he has made since returning.

Obviously you'll come back and tell me you don't care or they don't care etc which you're entitled to do, but myself and many others don't have anything in common with these people. The guy recording that video is every bit as bad as a taig and actually arguably worse imo

Back in 2015 we had the pleasure  on the Founders Trail of the company  of Les and Jean White a retired couple from Airdrie.
After the Trail they approached us and asked if they could join our Restoration of Rangers Graves team with a view to specifically looking after the plots at Craigton Cemetery.
We of course welcomed them with open arms.
They travel over to Craigton before every Trail and carry out essential  gardening work to ensure that the plots of Founder Peter McNeil, Manager Mr Struth and Trainer James Wilson are kept in pristine condition.
    ‘’Bluenoses with Green Fingers!’’
It’s a wonderful ,heart-warming example of the Rangers Family at work.
They’ll be extremely embarrassed by this but we’d like to say thank you for the dedication, time and effort that you both put in.
    Thank you.

I don't think the team had that sort of fight left in them after the 9 man UFA stand off. As athletes they needed time to recover properly and we don't have a pool of players to choose from just yet to give them that respite. I think SG factored this fatigue, dehydration, muscle pain etc in the way he set up the team so as to avoid injuries. I think our team gave us a last push with everything they had left in the tank and they would have succeeded in getting a draw if it hadn't been for the ref.
On the flip side of the coin they had their 11 best out and they couldn't score from the advantage of a fatigued Rangers team, the ref had to gift them a goal.

A good article with proper analysis not clouded by hatred or worse, stupidity.
    Analysis Corner: Morelos Myths
    By Dougie Wright (@dougie_wright)
Alfredo Morelos has had a mixed time of it since arriving in Glasgow.
On one hand, his debut season ended with fourteen goals as he adapted seamlessly to life in Scotland. Considering Rangers’ on-field problems, and that it was his first season in Scotland, it was a pretty good return.
Despite this, Morelos has picked up his fair share of critics. General accusations of a “bad attitude” have been made, while certain sections of the media have made dull jabs about the Colombian’s “street value” and “puppy fat”.
Six goals in his last seven games have silenced all but his harshest critics. Yet there is still a lingering perception of Morelos as a foul tempered brute who misses sitters. Let’s mythbust both of these in turn.
    1) Morelos is a dirty player
Morelos has a weird reputation for being a bit of a thug.
Last season, the Colombian picked up an average of one yellow card for every three full games he played.
This is a decent amount, but hardly enough to earn him a permanent spot on Crimewatch.
By way of comparison, John McGinn and Graeme Shinnie picked up around one yellow card every two games. However, neither seem to have picked up the reputation for on pitch skulduggery that Morelos enjoys.
Perhaps his sulky demeanour has influenced this perception. Yet the fact remains that this guy has played nearly 100 full games as a professional and is yet to see a red card that was not later quashed on appeal.
The notion that he is a particularly violent or dirty player is nonsense.
    2) He misses too many chances
While offering a critique of Alfredo Morelos’ overall game on Sunday, Chris Sutton claimed that although Morelos was a promising player, “he does miss chances”.
Albeit that there is yet to be a striker in the history of football who has scored with every shot they’ve taken, let’s assume Sutton meant instead that Morelos misses more than his fair share of chances.
This is probably based on a succession of chances Morelos had against celtic last year where he failed to score.
Last season, Morelos took 84 shots and scored 14 goals.
That means that overall 17% of his shots hit the back of the net.
Moussa Dembélé is probably going to be the most expensive export in Scottish football history, and rightly so.
Yet the Frenchman scored 9 goals last season off the back of 59 shots, which gives a 15% conversion rate – marginally lower than Morelos’. However, I’m yet to read anything about around Dembélé’s profligacy in front of goal.
All strikers miss chances. Even the top scorers in any given season only score around 20% of their shots. Missing a big chance in a crunch game doesn’t make you a terrible finisher any more than scoring it makes you a goal machine.
There are naturally areas where Morelos could add to his game.
On many occasions, he will shoot from a tight angle in a crowded box when a pass to a better placed team mate would be more efficient. Furthermore, Spielverlagerung analyst Alex Lawrence has pointed out that the Colombian tends to attack the back post too often, when a run to the front post could create more space for oncoming team-mates.
In any case, the 22 year old is a pretty exciting prospect. He holds the ball up against bigger, stronger player with ease, his awareness of midfield runners helps him join up play when a long ball comes in from deep, he presses well and is extremely adept at finding space in the penalty box.
Altogether, he seems to have been given much too tough a time of it here in Scotland. If people put their prejudices aside, they’d be able to see that he’s one of the best players in the country

    On This Day: Ronnie McKinnon
    by Rangers Football Club
ON THIS DAY in 1940, Hall of Fame defender Ronald “Ronnie” McKinnon was born in Glasgow.
Perhaps the best Rangers centre-half since Willie Woodburn, McKinnon had outstanding pace, great composure and tremendous authority.
The events of November 3, 1971 will always be remembered as some of the most remarkable in Rangers’ history but for Ronnie McKinnon it was the night his Rangers dream died.
On an amazing night in Lisbon, Rangers lost 4-3 after extra time to Sporting in the Jose de Alvalade Stadium in the second leg of their European Cup Winners Cup second round tie.
Having won the first leg at Ibrox 3-2, the tie had finished 6-6 on aggregate and Dutch referee Laruens van Raavens wrongly ordered a penalty shoot out.
Rangers promptly missed four of their five penalties – does that sound familiar? And the Portuguese celebrated what they thought was a dramatic victory.
Manager Willie Waddell checked his rulebook on the advice of John MacKenzie, his former colleague at the Scottish Daily Express, that extra time goals count double in the event of a level aggregate score.
The rule had just changed that summer and the referee had forgotten. The penalty shoot-out verdict was overturned, Rangers were declared the winners and the rest is history as the Light Blues went on to famously win the trophy in Barcelona the following May.
It was a night of unbridled celebration in the Portuguese capital but for McKinnon it was as if his world had completely collapsed.
The centre-back, who had been a rock for Rangers and Scotland during the sixties, suffered a double fracture of is right leg and he never played for the club again.
He won nine major honours and played 473 games for Rangers and was undoubtedly a main element in the great side of the early 1960s which fans of the time can recite in their sleep: Ritchie; Shearer, Caldow; Greig, McKinnon, Baxter; Henderson McMillan, Millar, Brand and Wilson.
He was also a Scotland regular and played in the famous 3-2 win over then World champions England at Wembley in 1967.
And although he was devastated to have his career cut short at the age of 31, McKinnon was philosophical enough to recognise what he had achieved.
Rangers let him go and he moved to South Africa where he played for Durban United and then became a car salesman before returning to Scotland. He now lives in Lewis.
