I think motherwell can be a tricky place and our record over the last few seasons proves this, but the performance was abysmal against a young team trying to gel. Kilmarnock should be 3 points on the board wherever we play, tin hat on, i think Naisy was the major problem, in the first half especially, he was set out to be on the left of a forward 3, however every time papac broke or the midfield needed an outball he was too central and sometimes even on the right hand side of boyd meaning others had to cover his duties. Naisy though can't take sole blame and our whole team had maybe a euro hangover, the only players i would give pass marks to would be McCulloch, Shagger and Whittaker.

was well impressed by jerome, he is not match fit yet he still had the energy and hunger to run at there keeper at a back pass in the last 5 mins. Excellent am expecting some big performances from him this season. Can't wait to give him a proper welcolme at ibrox.

Another good solid performance from the wee man, he is going to be an important part of the squad this year.

im not overly concerned by sevilla, would like to see them pump the germans and romanians home and away, if we take anything off them in both games then bonus. IMO we need to beat the romanians home and away and set us up for a massive match v ze germans at ibrox to go through.

I agree with the original poster in terms of the league cup only. It is clear we have a smaller squad this year and with the exertsions of europe i would like to see the young lads have a shot at the league cup, in reality it is a diddy cup and im not arsed either way. I would prefer to go and watch young lads trying to have a go rather than watch a tired first team grinding out a result. With the scottish cup i would still prefer to ensure we push to win this at every opportunity as i would like to have the title of more cups than you over the offended ones.
