  1. Met TB a couple of times You will never meet a kinder more decent man who didn't have a nasty bone in his body True gentleman and a sad loss for Scottish football.
  2. Pesonally think we could in future (after DW retires) play 3 at the back protected by Davis and Edu which would free JF to play off the front 1/2.
  3. Cant choose between- Bobby Russell v PSV in Eindhoven Rod Wallace v Dortmund at Ibrox
  4. A strange choice maybe but the proudest i've ever been of our support was the 1988-89 Scottish Cup Final when after losing 1-0 to Celtic the vast majority of the "Rangers end" stayed for fully 45 minutes after the final whistle singing non stop. Sometimes defeat brings out the best in us.
  5. Fleck is indeed injured but even when selected he's played out of position. Its hard enough for younger players to hold down a regular place in the team but without doubt made more difficult when asked to play in a unfamiliar position.
  6. Of the four players you mention Little and Hutton are very limited when it comes to technique and pace while Wylde and Fleck are the opposite. I would choose the latter but will WS ?
  7. WS will always choose experience over youth even if it means players being played out of position Always has done Always will do While appreciating that WS's prority is to win games i feel this could be achieved in tandem with giving the most talented youngsters valuable game time. Would anyone have thought this time last year that in DW we had a potential £5 million player in our youths.
  8. I'd rather give Ross Perry a opportunity than sign Mark Reynolds who imo - Lacks pace Poor distribution No Positional sense Poor concentration. Nowhere near the standard of player we need to progress.
  9. Not a fan of LMC and thought he was no more than decent today. Gives away far too many cheap free kicks. To progress we have to have players in the midfield who are both comfortable in possession and also mobile enough to cover the distance between our defence (which due to DWs selection sits too deep) and the forward/forwards who can be isolated at times.
  10. We have one - Gregg Wylde.
  11. Standing next to Gordon Ramsey is David McFarlane who came on as a substitute in the 86/87 League Cup Final v Celtic (Souness's first trophy)
  12. Derek Ferguson with his blonde highlights. Having him and Durrant breaking into 1st team at the same time-thought we had our midfield for years to come Had more ability than Barry but a shoulder injury and poor attitude meant he never realised his potential.
  13. Top left-Striker Eric Ferguson Top second left-Centre-half Beattie (cant remember his 1st name) Top right- might be right-back Scott Fraser Bottom right- Yule.
  14. Vital to have a international class goalkeeper and AMG certainly comes into that category. Along with Bougherra-Davis-Miller forms the spine of the team.
  15. No doubts that it will become more difficult in the forseeable future so the fact that we have already began to put our finances in order should help. Does anyone think that under DM this tough but necessary course of action would have been taken. History tells me it wouldn't and we would be in a dire state LBG
  16. Would expect it to be between £20-25 million this year. Should be reduced even further next year.
  17. As much as i dislike Riordan he did nothing that could cause AMG to go down AMG himself will i'm sure feel embarrassed today I expect better from our players.
  18. Honestly cant see any difference between AMG & KL. Both players went down when there was no contact. Both players should feel embarrassed and ashamed of their attempts to get a fellow player sent off. Expect higher standards from our players.
  19. On saturday i would play a back 3 (whittaker-webster-bougherra) with Davis and Edu sitting in front leaving Naismith to support the front two Miller/Beattie-Jelavic. Lets really have a go when teams come to Ibrox.
  20. Agree with that. Think all three would add to the team/squad.
  21. While agreeing that CL football next season would be a bonus i feel that the last two SPL titles which led to automatic entry into the CL have been the most important won, perhaps in our history It doesn't bear thinking about what our future could have been without them. We have to have in place a financial strategy that enables us to at the very least break- even without reliance on CL income
