  1. controversial Why? We won the 50 titles a good few years ago - it should have been a one off thing If they arent to be binned then put them on the collar or on the sleeves - id rather have the Gers badge bigger as well - the stars just dont look right IMO Do Liverpool have the 5 stars above their badge? keep the five stars imo who gives a toss about liverpool? till i die I do Fud
  2. The stadium plans are up there with sellik's Tour of Japan which prevented them from prolonging the season..... NON EXISTENT.
  3. The other main problem is there arent too many attacking midfielders on the current market who we could afford. And then we'd have the upheaval of offloading some of the deadwood (Buffel, Adam, Burke etc) - unfortunately McCulloch is Walter's love child and blue-eyed boy can do no wrong. I actually dont know what his REAL position is. Any suggestions for attacking midfielders who we could afford, and ultimately, attract? Wee Larya Kingston (is that his name...excuse my spelling....the wee black guy from Hearts?), is a possibility - reminds me a bit of a young Latapy. He has pace, drive, has confidence and eye for goal and always likely to win you a penalty. He would come to us in a flash IMO. Other than that...i'm stuck....??????

It doesn't matter what Liverpool do, we have our own image, and these days the Rangers Crest is identified along with the 5 stars, which in my opinion, should stay, as it reminds the world that we are the most succesful club team in the world. I agree that the Crest should be bigger tho.
  5. Fuckin' class mate!!! If only that happened all the time!!!
  6. They are called 'Dirty Blighters' - can be found on Youtube.
  7. Cannae beat the 'Carlos Cuellar, Rangers Centre Half' song..... or 'Oh Christian Dailly,,you are the love of my life, oh Christian Dailly, i'd let you sh*g my wife, oh Christian Dailly...i want curly hair too'!!! or 'Oh Manchester.....is wonderful........ Oh Manchester ....is wonderful....... its full of tits, fanny and the Rangers..... Oh Manchester is wonderful!!!!!' Cant get any of those out my head!!!!
  8. Will he get a collarette to wear and a banner to carry????? l know what i would give the wee shite - a hammer over the nut!!!!
  9. l reckon he'll stay at Ibrox and take on a kind of coaching role, as he seems to pass on a lot of tips to the younger players, and he seems happy amongst the squad he's with. Probably go down the route Ally's going, taking tips from Walter before making his own decision to take over as manager of a team. He would do well as a manager as he has a lot of knowledge of the game, knows a lot of players so could attract many big names for a team, and seems to be very insperational in general. Either way, if he's here or not next year, i'd love to thank the big man for being at the heart of our defence and along with King Carlos he was a rock. Cheers Davie boy.
  10. I reckon there will be a few lined-up who are involved in the Euro's, probably not major stars but i think players from Czech Republic and the likes could be possibilities. Maybe even a few Russians. Teams on the up, who are playing with confidence. Just hope, as Adam said, we don't get held to ransom after a few good performances. However, i feel the majority of our targets will be pishy Scottish playes like Miller and even possibly McFadden (2 taigs i hope NEVER sign for the Bears), and maybe even Fletcher. also, we were linked on Sky Sports News today with Danny Shittu - this does not tie in with Walters comments about quality, not quantity though.
  11. Personally i dont think either will be at Ibrox next season. Cousin has made it clear he's away, and as for Davis - if Walter wont play him in the middle of the park, where he is supposed to play, as opposed to out on the right where he is not effective, points out that Walter isn't 100% confident of taking Davis into the squad. Also, although Davis started off well when he came here (albeit in his natural position) - to say he's a massive Rangers fan, he's never really came out and declared his love of the team or the fans, and has always been very cagey about saying he wants to make the move permanant. l can understand that to a point, what with him still being employed by Fulham, but i think the majority of Ulstermen and Rangers fans in that position would be telling the world how happy they are to be 'home' but he just does not do that.
  12. I wouldn't take the wee prick even on a Bosman. He swaggers about snarling like that prick Lennon all the time, and although he's never done anything for the tims against us, he hasn't done much in general. It would be a step backwards. Plus - that could possibly involve Walter dropping his sweetheart, Lee McCulloch, and l cant see that happening unfortunately. We should be looking at a higher level than broon.
  13. His goal-to-game ratio is a joke. I know those youtube clips show his scoring a few goals, but fuck me, there are similar videos of folk like Sebo and Mi**er. That is definitely NOT what we should be looking at spending £4m on. And with regards to him 'having a good build' - he is very easily knocked off the ball and never tracks back, while missing many a sitter. l've followed as many matches as possible that he's been involved in, mainly cos he was linked with us and the taigs, and when i heard they were going to get him at one point, i was delighted. To liken him to Chris Sutton, as much as i hate Sutton, is well wide of the mark. We can spend our money much wiser than that, and shouldn't be getting held to ransom for him either. £4m is not an option IMO.
  14. Fair play to big Papac, he has done us very proud this year. However, i would still go with wee Stevie Smith when he returns cos when we had him and Hutton at LB and RB, the attacking from defence meant minimal attacking from the opposition, and im sure Walter will go all out for a RB in the summer cos he won't stick with Broadfoot. The fact that Walter played Whittaker at LB a few times, even when Papac was fit, leads you to believe he isn't exactly 100% behind the big man. But as you have all said, well done to the big yin, and if it comes to the time when wee Stevie gets put to LB, i would have no problem with Papac moving back to his ORIGINAL position next to King Carlos in the middle cos he would not let us down, and would no doubt revel in the change.
  15. I'd make that my last pint in that boozer mate. Timmy will believe what the mhedia tell them, and not listen to the people who were actually there, but who cares! I know the truth....you know the truth....mmmm, theres someone else who knew....cant recall his name again......
  16. Get a grip. What are you going to do on a supporters bus going to Manchester on the morning of a game? Have everyone sitting there like wee fuckin choir boys? dont think so. Its only realistic to expect that most folk travelling that day would be drinking, and if your on a bus from 6, 7 or 8am, wot do u expect by 3pm (if thats your limit)? Get real and enter the real world of Rangers away fans. On my bus, and all my mates buses, it was the same. Drink on the way down and have a great time with a sing-song...- that was the plan, and thats what happened. Okay, some folk cant handle their drink and thats their problem (and i suppose Rangers' problem when its reflected upon us when shown up in the papers or in the news) but at the end of the day, the majority of us were okay and had a great day until Manchester's organisers fucked things up for us all.
  17. Come on...what did you expect when u knew 150,000 fans were going there? a fuckin nice wee sing-song with no drink and no nutters? Get real. We all knew the Bears were going down in their numbers, even Manchester knew, yet they weren't prepared (clearly neither were you from the sounds of things). Okay, nobody expected the carnage that happened after the game, but the Manchester Council and Police have so much to answer for, and if they want to put themselves forward for major competition finals and the like, then they must be prepared for it. Okay, no-one expected Rangers to get to the UEFA Cup Final (myself included....i thought it'd be the Champions League Final lol!!!), and we know that there are really only two teams in this world (that l know of) who would take numbers such as we did, to a cup final, and that is Us and them. So fair play, when they applied for the final, it was loaded with good intentions, however, they didn't know the Gers were coming. The layout of the day was a farce. Me and the boys on my bus had a fantastic day right up until the screen 'allegedly' went down. Then, i did not see ONE police officer around the situation. After the game during the carnage, i asked one officer 'Where is the train station'....and he said 'i dont have a clue mate, im from Liverpool'. I mean, wot the fuck is that all about? Im not for one second condoning what the 'fans' done after the game, but i understand their frustrations. l hope Manchester NEVER get another major attraction like that again, because someone will end up seriously injured. Rant over!! lol.
  18. Absolutely agree with you 100% mate. They fannied about for far too long with that screen, and if they done it on purpose or not, they caused the carnage themselves. l do not believe for one second that the screen just went on the blink at that point. dont get me wrong, i was ragin' with some so called Bears who were throwing bottles right into the middle of other Bears, especially the ones on top of that cabin in Picadilly Sq, cos there were no Polis or screens in range for their bottle throwing yet they done it anyway. Manchester is a fucking disgrace of a place. l will NEVER step foot in it again (good thing for Mancs eh? lol). The Manchester organisers ruined what had been an absolutely fantastic day until that point.
  19. Is there a game on this wednesday??? Who's playing?????
  20. Champagne Super Nova by Oasis - for the wee man!!!!
  21. Good point mate. BUT....they might have found out about 'travel sickness tablets'!!!! lol Who cares, at the end of the day, we have faced far better opposition and defeated them, this is our year and no wee bunch of turds from Russia are going to ruin that!!!!! No Surrender!! :unionflag:
  22. Broadfoot tries his best, but his best is not good enough. We need to buy a new right back in the summer.
  23. Cheers for the gen-up r.e the drink driving thing sir. Wot are the twats wi the irish flags all about? They must surely expect the retaliation they deserve? Sounds like the remainder of Manchester, all papes excluded, is ready for us, and looking forward to making a fortune from us. No surrender.
