  1. Wisen up? Both songs mentioned are hardly 'sectarian', especially the latter. Nothing will come of this. The Arab Trust just want to look actively involved and jump on the bandwagon against big bad Rangers Football Club. It was very cunning of them to put their hands over their ears when the word "H**" was being thrown about Tannadice.
  2. I've never heard of one for a manager before but it's certainly a gesture that he deserves to enjoy. He's one of Rangers' greatest ever managers up there with Struth and Wallace - no question about it. Manchester United wouldn't be too hard to arrange I'd imagine with Ferguson being there.
  3. Aye, I though it was 10 years too. He'll get his testimonial. He'll still be playing in about 40 years time. He's invincible.
  4. No team in the SPL is going to lie down to any team, nevermind Rangers or Celtic. Sure, Aberdeen do all they can to damage Rangers in every encounter but they don't lie down to Celtic as such; they just don't try as hard or with as much fight. Stuart McCall has far too much pride to ever throw a game. Celtic will win that one regardless, but not without Motherwell going out to take some points back home.
  5. Grow up. He's an absolute cretin but he doesn't deserve to be maimed or even murdered. His children could've been killed too, just remember that. I'll never understand how someone can be so dismissive to another human life like that because he's an antagonising bastard at the side of a football pitch. Slam it into perspective, you moron.
  6. I understand that and completely agree but it shouldn't have to be made clear by the fans at the most important Old Firm game for years. Also, it will seem a tad hypocritical after the banners taken down when Lennon will be receiving all sorts of abuse, and quite rightly.
  7. Why should there be? It has nothing to do with The Rangers Football Club.
  8. Celtic will win pretty comfortably, but am I right in saying that a few Celtic first-team players are a yellow card away from a suspension? This could be detrimental for them during the run-in. It would be nice if a few got injured tonight. Scummy bastards. Here's hoping that Eremenko steals the show.
  9. Precisely. I don't understand the furore about it. I think it's a very smart top.
  10. Is anyone able to clear up the FAQ about King's involvement with tax fraud in South Africa and whether or not this is still an ongoing issue? He's a conman. Rangers man or not, it makes me feel very uneasy thinking about him running the Club.
  11. Agree with Muff's team but unsure of whether I'd prefer Ness in there instead of Hutton. I'd probably stick to Hutton if push came to shove... Diouf won't start and shouldn't start. We can't afford to be a man down. He'll be getting more abuse than ever before at this one, without a doubt. I don't trust his temper and Naismith deserves the start. The biggest game of Rangers' season. A must win.
  12. SSN: Rangers fan shames Club after littering in Blackpool. UEFA sanction expected soon.
  13. Shagger told him that "any hole's a goal" and thought he'd take his chances.
  14. To be fair, he didn't have a bad game tonight but I'd still start Hutton ahead of him on Sunday assuming Jamie Ness is still injured.
  15. The last two times that happened on the coast of Italy near Bologna last year and the year before with my team, minus the Old Firm win. The first time, teamed up with some equally mashed Slovakians - who wouldn't stop ranting about Boyd, Mendes and Ferguson when they saw my Rangers top - a few of the lads pushed a boat out from the beach back into the sea, saving the owner from doing it himself the next morning. Nothing big. Then last year, we met up with the same Slovakians - who this time were ranting about their very own Vladimir Weiss before his move to Rangers - and ended up causing chaos to which 5 Italian police cars had to drive down to the beach for what seemed to be a very rare outing for them in this part of Italy judging by the impression of a few distressed locals. The Slovakians had decided to cover 3 deck chairs and a gazebo/umbrella thing with their homemade vodka (this stuff was grotesque. I lost feeling in my throat for a good 20 minutes after drinking it.) next to around 20 other deck chairs grouped together, and then one of our own, a rabid Clyde fan, offered to help them with his recently purchased Mussolini lighter and set it all alight. Fucking inferno. 3 Slovakians got arrested and the rest of us ran like fuck, out our faces, some not able to remember what had happened the next morning. One of the best weeks of my life. We left with the trophy and the shame of the locals. Excellent holiday.
  16. Cheers, Ben. I'll be fucking livid if I can't. If I don't get to see it, I'll bring a radio to my match or something. No way am I relying on hearsay amongst Blackpool locals to find out the score. I'll play with a radio-earpiece in if I have to! (Yeah, they are real.) If we win, I think I'll still try and head to the bar if it's open. I'll need to find out the times first. It's incredible how close it is to the seafront.
  17. 70 Kent Rd, Blackpool, FY1 5ET, UK http://maps.google.co.uk/ I'm travelling down to Blackpool on Friday with my football team for a tournament and I've only just realised that I'm going to miss the game. However, should the kick-off times for my own matches be late in the day, I may be able to take the game in at The Blackpool Central Club, if possible, which is 5 minutes from our hotel! Any Blackpool True Blues on here? Any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers.
  18. The Billy Boys was not sung. Lies: It's 'The Glasgow Celtic Way'. The funniest parts of the match were chants of "We want more penalties" and the mock-up rendition of The Famine Song for Dundee being a shithole. Excellent.
  19. Lighten up, Jesus. No-one's getting ahead of themselves. Even if Rangers beat Celtic on Sunday, the league is far from over. Enjoy the win.
  20. ‎3 Dundee United players were sent off; Rangers were given 3 penalties; Diouf won one of the penalties; Willie Collum was the referee; Kyle Lafferty scored a scorcher and Davis had a great game; then David Healy came on for another Champions appearance; the Rangers fans gave a mock-up rendition of The Famine Song; and Rangers won 4-0 at Tannadump. Far too funny. Celt*c will be demanding clarification from FIFA as we speak!
