As much as we'd all love this , I just don't think it could happen at a club like ours . No disrespect to crewe but they don't have the same expectations or demanding fanbase . Realistically I'd be happy to be bringing through 2/3 boys from the academy a year adding to some experienced , proven quality . An ideal world of course is crewes example while still delivering constant success

He has been pretty quiet given his chance but with the league won I'd play him , especially at ibrox , to build his confidence and get him comfortable as a starter for us . I believe he could become an important player for us in the coming years

from what I've seen he's a good keeper . alexander has been good for us . I appreciate him staying and he's done well for most of his time here . he was class as shaggers replacement the Manchester year. but this year he's went backwards, we can do better . we shouldn't let his loyalty cloud our judgement of his talents .

he's a cracking player, I'm so happy he stayed . he's the best left back in Scotland, but for me he's no captain .

fair enough, I did think he was a good for player for us with great potential to be a mainstay in our midfield for years to come and maybe captain material but injuries ruined that. I wasnt talking just Thomson, just that any ex player mentioned the usual reply is that it'd be a step backwards , we need to rely on youth ,no matter the player, or circumstances . with Thomson though now I'd want to see how he gets on this season with hibs before we totally write him off

I don't get the argument in not bringing back ex players . if they're good enough, would improve the team and didn't cost a fortune in wages then why not bring them back . obviously not a full team of them as we need to get out youngsters games too improve . but what's wrong with a couple . boyd comes for free . couple grand a week wages n scores the goals that gets us back to the top league while helping the youngsters with their finishing . Thompson comes free. helps our young midfield through games and helps them mature . I don't see any loss . plus it's not like these guys are finished . the both I've mentioned are under 30

I think this season was all about getting out the division as quickly and efficiently as we could, and we've done that . I know we all want (and with the money we pay should) be playing better football but this is a brand new squad of players , no pre season ,playing in a totally different environment where every games a cup final for the opposition .the players that's disappointed me are the spl players wev signed black, sheils, sandaza, but we know they have the talent wev seen it before . the youngsters have impressed me, macloud especially, and mackay Crawford naismith n hemmings have all the potential in the world not forgetting Cole who I think could be an excellent centre half for us . sort out the defense which has been noticed as a weak point by the management and I think we'll see a big improvement next season

I don't doubt he would be a good signing for us over the next 2 years I think he would score I good amount in divisions 1-2 , but I would want a better player to replace him by the time we're back in the top league . so really what's the point? we have enough striking options to take ys through these divisions without spending on his wage . give hemmings a chance to prove himself, let little continue to improve as a no.9 . let's see what naismith can do and I still believe ugly fran will come good . if these guys can't do it then there must be better cheaper options out there than daly

I know we tried to kill you, but it turns out that the top league in Scotland is shite without you so please come back . ( to be honest we don't care about your team -or fans but we could sure use the money you bring ) no thanks for me . sporting integrity was the buzz word of the summer, if a couple teams go bust because of their hatred of rangers,so be it . maybe now the average fan of the other spl clubs well realise that bar our titles celtic got everything they wanted from this

I loved boyd when he was here . if he scores goals at killie then I'd welcome him back, however I'd be wary of overspending on his wage . he's been mostly poor since he left apart from a couple of no bad spells . if he can prove himself again, show he's got the desire and isn't being greedy then I'd take him, one year contracts at a time though
