  1. Played a part in all 3 goals to be fair. Lovely touch over the defence for the penalty to be won. Cushioned knock down in the box for the 2nd and played the ball to Windass for the 3rd. Pretty poor performance all round tonight and Niko was definitely poor but the odd wee bit of magic, nice touches can make the difference in a game like that. Can see why Murty played him. Niko, Halliday, Hodson, Dodoo and Herrera surely won't be here next season.
  2. Mark Warburton had the policy of signing young players with good potential to develop. Are we now starting to see the benefits of that policy now the players have been here a couple of years ? Big Wes was outstanding tonight, always had some doubts about him before but he really is looking worthy of being Rangers number 1 for years to come. Tav is different class I really do rate him highly and have done even when he was being hounded by a lot of folk. Quality. Windass who was the whipping boy for a while is now showing he can be a real asset and is always capable of causing the opposition problems. Wee Holt was great again tonight. Full of energy and passion. Don't think he's a mainstay in the team but a great wee player to have around and filling in when needed. Big Davie Bates although he doesn't look a comfortable footballer can really defend well. Again not probably a number 1 choice but good to have in the squad. It's good to have players who can come in and hit the ground running but young players can take a bit of time to settle and everyone mentioned above is definitely worth more now that what we paid for them.
  3. Was sat amongst the PSG fans for that game. Can see the Union jack up on the left hand side near the end, thats where they piled all the bears with home tkts. Mental day but great memories
  4. If that happens then doubt very much we'll be getting a new manager mate. Will be Murtys job and rightly so.
  5. It's defo older than that as it's around that time I started going to every game and it wasn't me who bought it. Someone must've gave me it as a kid or something along those lines.
  6. Found this beauty in amongst all my old tops and scarfs while up visiting my parents this week. Going with the style of it and the treble reference I'm guessing it's from Jock Wallace years. Anyone got similar or confirm it's from that era?
  7. None of them are good enough to play for us. Went down to watch Wimbledon V Portsmouth a month or so ago. Forrester was on the bench till about 70 mins. Was pish when he came on.
  8. I take it it's still sports direct running the website? That's the kind of shit they do eh.
  9. Is the game on in the white bear today or is it that green man pub ? Was gonna just stay local and watch it but definitely will have Spurs V West Ham taking centre stage.
  10. I had no recollection of it all for some reason. Strange because I remember loads of shit from that era pretty clear. Was some strike
  11. Did we no try and sign him before he went to Porto mate? Is so then I reckon the earlier part of his career is where to judge the record
  12. Big Amo posted a few pictures on Instagram of him playing for us and noticed Jardel in a Galatasaray shirt in one of the photos. Done a bit of googling and turns out he actually scored against us over there in Istanbul. I must've surely knew that at the time but had no memory of it whatsoever last night. Always wonder how it would've been if that deal never fell through. His goal record was frightening.
  13. The wee man led the line well last night. He just ran out of steam. Definitely start with the player in form. Morelos is deadly, if we get a chance against them then he's the man we want on the end of it. That being said Herrera will come good as well. Maybe see him for last half hour on Saturday.
  14. What a shite OP. He gets some brilliant balls into the box and causes danger. Links well with Tav going on the overlap and played him in a few times. He created that chance he missed for himself by his closing down and also for Morelos similar chance I am pretty sure it was Candeias who closed that down as well. This all before he tucked one into the bottom corner from the edge of the box to go on and win the game.
  15. Looks decent. If him and Wallace were fit for Saturday I would start with same team as tonight apart from Windass out and John pushed into left mid.
  16. That extra sub saved us the game. Morelos was fucked and we couldn't get up the park. Typical that Partick goal done my coupon then score 2 early goals in ET. Got through to the semi. That's the main thing, now onto these cunts on Saturday.
  17. Noticed this earlier as well and found it a bit strange. Changed days indeed
  18. We could easily have won that game last night then it's a whole different outlook. Should've been wrapped up in the 1st half
  19. Can tell all the stuff this year is makeshift last minute thrown together shite
  20. The Man United fans know how to pen a new player song ?
  21. Aye that's the point I was making mate. If Helsinki can do it then why can't we
  22. We would never have signed him if it wasn't for JJ seeing him play. Finding more gems like this is the way forward. Makes you wonder though how a team like HJK Helsinki can scout a player like him from Colombia and a team the size of Rangers struggle in that department.
  23. Picked him out at start of the season in that "ace in the pack" thread someone made. Could tell he was going to be quick and work hard. Direct running and gets an early ball whipped in as well. Was at Wimbledon V Portsmouth today where Harry Forrester was on the bench. Some people thought Harry could do a job for us and should have played more but compare him to this guy and you can see exactly what Pedro was on about when he wanted "warriors". Difference in attitude is night and day.
