I'm not saying it will help them, I am saying they are causing additional strain on the infrastructure in the surrounding area which leads to knock-on effects for everyone around, not just Rangers fans. People who live in Ibrox/Cessnock etc might work in an area served by the new station and may well welcome additional rail links, I cant say cause I don't live there but it's less traffic on the roads.

It would alleviate pressure on the current infrastructure which hasn't been upgraded to meet the increased demand for transport links to the area with the likes of BBC, QEUH etc moving into the vicinity and new flats being built in the area. You know what it's like trying to get home from the ground on matchdays, how are ambulances supposed to fight their way through that sort of traffic, it could be the difference between life and death for the poor bastard in the back. As people and businesses expand into the southside we need to support that with upgrading the infrastucture.
