I find it really difficult to be negative about a guy who has been a great servant to us. However, his time is most definitely up and it’s a shame he didn’t finish on a high with the Scottish Cup win. I would love us to buy a keeper in January who can come out and command his box by cleaning out everything in front of him. Even at his peak Allan never had this in his game. He still deserves a lot of respect in my opinion and I hope that the situation is taken out of his hands sooner rather than later.

This is very shallow, but at the end of the game last night I wasn’t particularly bothered with how we’d played, our defensive frailties or individual performances. Serious question here. Has anyone at the club ever actually came out and owned up to thinking that playing the Tarriers in a friendly on the other side of the world was a good idea? Whoever initially agreed to this should have fallen on their sword right away. The board are so out of touch with the fan base that it’s not even funny anymore. Another fucking court case and probably more millions down the toilet given our recent record. We were promised more communication from every corner of the club, but it’s ended up like the secret service. I can’t remember when as a fan I felt so out of the loop. Big changes required.

I’m honestly 70 in March. First game against the Tarriers in 1972. I’m not Scottish but supported Rangers even as a kid. I’ve lived here since 1983 and had a season ticket from 1987 until 2011. Firstly in the Govan Rear then moved to the family section in the Broomloan. Had to stop going due to ill health but luckily I’m still here and still love the Rangers. Followed the team all over Europe and even spent 3 nights with my pal in a Datsun Cherry on the pre season tour of the highlands in 1986.I’m a thick skinned old fucker and will probably get more stick about being a Taig but I’ll take it on the chin. So take it or leave it but that’s how it is, I’m a bluenose through and through and proud to be so. 🇬🇧🇬🇧
