  1. Just a heads up MOTD2 returns tonight sadly this season that plank Mark Chapman will be the host.
  2. Whats the deal with tickets are they out yet? Not a season ticket holder myself but can easily get friends or family to get me a ticket when they are for sale. Really looking forward to this just need confirmation of a ticket so I can get the cheapish train fare from London confirmed.
  3. Am wanting to make this but worried about a ticket. Is only an hour or so on the train from London so is more attractive than the mid week Sheffield Wednesday game as far as pre season. Any help with a ticket would be appreciated, also as I will be going on my own if there is a London travelling would appreciate a PM.
  4. Am considering this trip, when are we getting confirmation of dates and teams we are playing? Hoping we are not going to be over that side of Germany exclusively-have friends over the other side so hoping we will go there as well. Ideally Karlsruhe, lovely place, great beer and women and lots of places for me to stay for nowt ( Selfish design the pre- season around where I can stay for free loyal!)
  5. ZZ-Whilst Platini was a good player etc ZZ is and was truly one of the best.
  6. Stolen from the SW board......... Be great to see Hillsborough decked out in British/English flags and to see a good away following for a friendly. I do have a "MASSIVE" soft spot for Rangers and it is the most prestigious friendly we have had in years. Be an honour to host them. Another from SW board......... + A game between two British clubs, why would there be any Irish flags? By your logic if we played Man United would you bring any Man City flags to "show support"/wrongly claim who was the biggest club in a city?? I am going to "support" my team ie Wednesday and be welcoming to such a great club as Rangers. If you want to show support for Celtic (I presume that is who you are referring to) then I suggest you do it elsewhere.
  7. Win well playing good football will satisfy myself.
  8. As much as I admire some of your views and the Glasgow humor thing surely you in Aberdeen know how to spell? Regards the post how or why would you even hear about this?
  9. I cannot believe that JT is wearing his full kit again. Has the man not got access to you-tube after last time???
  10. Classic fan comment 5 mins before the goal. Torres really comes alive in big games like this….why are Chelsea bothering to keep him on the books?? It's still a major final competition and he's completely switched off. Embarrassing
  11. Did you know he had previously broken his leg in a cup final..............
  12. One of my favourite ex players and all on 20 plus smokes a day.
  13. Come on both teams need to sore to earn me money!
  14. The empty seat factor again at Wembley-looks awful to a world wide audience-the game is a sell out so why all the empty seats looks like that at most games.
  15. I am getting increasingly annoyed with Dave Whelan. Its about the players and manager and fans not you.
  16. Both teams to score is all I care about.
  17. Ally could sort out our lack of goals by fielding himself going by today.
  18. Can not believe it has taken three pages to mention Baxter-Pele regarded him as one of the best, consider the players in the Brazil midfields and the midfielders Pele played against for him to say that is quite a compliment. In the 1967 British Home Championship, Baxter produced a dominating but controversial performance for Scotland, tantalising England, who had won the World Cup in 1966,[4] by playing "keepie uppie" (ball juggling) while waiting for team-mates to get into good positions.[16] Some commentators accepted that humiliating the opposition was a valid objective, while others regarded it as childish and thought Scotland should have won a more convincing victory than the actual 3–2 scoreline.[17][18] Team-mate Denis Law expressed opinions on both sides of this debate, saying that Baxter was "the best player on the park" and the main reason for the Scots' victory,[19] but complaining that Baxter's lack of urgency had prevented Scotland from thoroughly avenging the 9–3 defeat in April 1961.[4][17] Alex Ferguson said Baxter's performance "could have been set to music".[4] In this game Baxter also conspired with Billy Bremneragainst Alan Ball, sending Bremner a "50-50" pass, which allowed Bremner to "hit Ball like a train" when Ball contested possession.[3] As Scotland were the first team to beat England after the1966 FIFA World Cup, the Tartan Army proclaimed themselves "unofficial world champions
  19. Pull the other one its got bells on. The OP is a fool if he believes that is JT tweet.
  20. I am offended that other people are offended and find that offensive and so on..
  21. I stupidly went against my better judgement and placed money on there being more than 2.5 goals. Teaches me to wrongly believe that with the title done and dusted we would attack and score goals to add to the presentation day.
  22. Barcelona really need a goal before half time, cannot see BM getting rattled like some of the teams do in La Liga when they go behind Messi will be o in the second half. Better than RM last night to watch mind you.
  23. Hartson related. He was on Barclay twitter ahead of today's games. I asked him who was the best player he faced whilst in Scotland. Here is his answer( Note I did not ask him about best player he played with whilst in Scotland but he decided to tweet that anyway) John: Ronald de Boer was the best player I played against in Scotland. Henrik Larsson was best I played with.
  24. Happy Birthday regards your problem there is a pill and its blue!
