  1. Anyone wants to say hagi is a player needs to seriously get a grip. Stealing a living. Still.
  2. Fantastic player. Will miss pre season. Then pick up a few niggles and break down again. Winter break to get him back up to speed - then just need match time. Will be like a new signing in January. Will benefit from a full pre season 24-25. Feeling of deja moo EDIT - just read the thread and noticed lots said the same
  3. I blamed gio for bringing him on to take 1. Often doesnt work out and sets everyone up for a fall.
  4. from my angle all I saw was a melee of legs and the ball popping out the other side, a side step and then I saw nothing for another couple of mins as it was just limbs, coats, hats, drinks, food, people everywhere
  5. 2 things 1 - you might be right but I saw a good goal and a deflected free kick and.... 2 - you can see me in the background as a blob when Aribo scores
  6. Other than a lack of pace, talent, physicality and game changing ability I quite like Hagi and wish him well at another team. Hopefully his name earns him a move to another team for a decent return and he can steal a living there instead. If he does stay and is a roaring success, I'm happy for anyone to remind me I said this and ram it down my throat
  7. He took it well as in it ended up in the net. Via a scuff that had zero composure 😆
  8. All day long. When he is no longer here, I hope some start to realise what we got for £400k. The best RB in the league by some distance, for a long period of time, contributing numbers that we may not see from that position ever again.
  9. I've said this and my rage at watching it over and over and over again grows with each passing goal. Goals change games and despite us carrying passengers our absolute inability to convert chances or show enough quality, coupled with suicidal defending game after game v. them, leaves us where we are. We gifted 2 at Ibrox in the 2-2. We gifted both at Parkhead. We gifted the semi-final goal as well as 1 in the final. That's 6 goals that were completely and utterly avoidable. Add to that the sitters we've missed. Football turns around VERY quickly and a change in mentality will follow if we get some quality additions in at the back, and up front.
  10. So they lost games in the cup deliberately, to give other clubs the illusion that all was rosy in the garden? Players and managers deliberately threw games and didn't object? Right you are.........
  11. Don't want to see either in a jersey again.
  12. Tav as a player is the very least of our problems. He could quite easily play in any of the right hand side positions. Tav as a captain? Different conversation.
  13. I don't think Kent plays again. His half time haul was a statement imo
  14. Inexplicable defensive errors and our inability to take chances is current difference. Unfortunately it's a huge difference.
  15. Should've been a couple up, at least. We were good for 30. Then they stepped up 15 yards and stopped us playing out. We let ourselves get drawn into a fight we did not have the stones for. Freak goal and a goal that came from a pull back shirt foul and we were done. Bottle merchant cunts. Again.
  16. Thinking we were better placed under Gio is some mental mental gymnastics
  17. This is a very good post. The signings of Cantwell and Raskin feel different to the seemingly scatter gun approach we've taken before - they were very targeted signings by the mgt team.
  18. Listening to the interview, and don't know if I'm reading into it what I want to be true, but there's not any sense of loss or upset that he's gone He "let heads of departments flourish in their roles" - I took as code for he wasn't that involved Overall, I think since Beale has come in he's said numerous times he's made assessments on players that need to stay and go and if the latter is a rather large list, as he's suggested, then it reflects badly on Wilson. We get the polished version in the media - I can imagine there's been some brutally honest conversations behind the scenes and it might just have got to the stage where Wilson knew his input wasn't being valued as much and he looked to the exit while his stock is still reasonably high across the football patch as a whole? I just can't shake the feeling the club aren't very sad about this. I know I'm not - so as I say it might just be me projecting
  19. "He's earned the right to be here until the end of his career. That doesn't mean we don't look at when that might be and developing an alternative" Did I just imagine typing this?
  20. We don't replace Tav with anyone nearly as effective without spending multi millions. He's earned the right to be here until the end of his career. That doesn't mean we don't look at when that might be and developing an alternative, but if he had "more" he simply wouldn't still be here. He is by far the best right back in the league over a long period of time, with assists and goals off the charts for a man who plays where he plays. He has not delivered success as a captain, but that is a different conversation. As a player, he is currently irreplaceable. That doesn't mean he has to play every game, but he is 100% going to be part of our future.
  21. As a Rangers fan, and if I was a pro ref, I'd be looking a little harder at celtic goals for possible infringements and looking for what I want to see in Rangers ones. There's no way you could not allow that little bias to creep in, even if it was your profession. I've just watched it again multiple times and at the other end, that goal stands (rightly so). There's no doubt about it. Even with my blue specs on, at the other end, I'd be hoping for a foul and to get away with one, as opposed to expecting to. And that's VAR's role.............the benefit of hindsight to ensure you arrive at the correct decision. Clancy has looked a little harder and found a reason to blow the whistle and disallow the goal, perhaps full in the knowledge VAR wouldn't call it an obvious error. That's where VAR have to be more impartial and say "hey, I know you said you saw a push, but there's more to it than that, Johnston looks to have had Morelos' shirt round his back before that, I think you should have a look mate"
  22. The Morelos decision on Saturday was criminal. I actually completely understand Clancy (or any ref) giving the foul IF ALL they've seen is Morelos' hands come up on the back. However, that doesn't appear to be the case, looks like full incident was seen in real time. Even if not though, and Beale was right at the time, Morelos' jersey is being pulled around his back before he leverages his way free to put the ball in the net. All pundits and ex refs agree on watching it back. So in this instance, VAR is an absolute joke. They've got the benefit of watching it back. They would have seen what the rest of the world saw and should have been asking Clancy to go and have a look at his on field decision - at which point, with the information available to him, and Morelos' jersey half way round his back, and still scoring, then he'd have no choice but to award the goal. That's what is getting me. Not Clancy, but VAR.
