  1. That's an interesting point, because like you, I watched Arsenal game last night and thought at the end we'd have 5 mins of drama while the Saka penalty claim was looked at. But nope, nothing, and I don't think you could argue it was a stick on, so game ended.
  2. Game is not going ahead tomorrow at Dens. Not a chance.
  3. Yep, finally. Was blowing a hoolie straight downwind, which is why Tav initially expected it to fly out of play behind him (as it did every single time thereafter in both half's), but a weird gust held it up and he reacted very slowly, with very poor decision making. Then a freak goal.
  4. I don't like him. Kept losing head to head battles and rather than reacting with character, decided to roll about instead. Embarrassing.
  5. It's the type that should make law makers re think the rule, but it's still a penalty in this day and age. We've benefitted from this too, so I've no issue with the penalty. I'm actually more bothered about how many celtic players are there waiting to head the ball and the only person we have in shot, challenging or anticipating, is Goldson. Our defending of corners and throw ins* is atrocious. *best not get me started on our defending of throw ins 😂
  6. I've no issue with the Goldson penalty, in this day and age. I'd be screaming blue murder if we didn't get it the other way. Silva (despite him being embarrassing yesterday) was a stick on penalty. The Lawrence one.......I wasn't raging at the time, but the more and more I think about it, the more I question it now because of the amount of time it took. What I would say is that his tackle (it was a foul) lead to us having the ball and scoring, in the same phase of play. If we had lost possession again, got it straight back, then scored, then it's a different phase and my understanding is that you can't then go back. I'd still wager it being the same phase of play that lead to us scoring, so I've no real issue with it. It's not like we were diddled like we were with VAR in the first Ibrox game with Dessers dispossessing and us scoring.
  7. Real time, I thought dive. Replay, stick on PEN. Conversation over
  8. Silva was embarrassing. Was still a stick on penalty tho. I think he's a fraud though. Rodgers saying not a PEN is cringe. Johnston should've got a 2nd yellow. Stick on penalty against Goldson. There's a fair and balanced view from an absolutely steaming Bear.
  9. DC was, and still is, one of my favourites of the last decade. I'm also a huge fan of Dujon Sterling by the way and would have him in the team on the right or middle, in every single game where there's likely to be a physical edge to it - not only does he match and win the physicality battle, the boy can fkn play too.
  10. The amount of late, game changing goals they score is ridiculous. They can't keep getting away with it. I just hope that it gets worse for them before it gets better. I thought yesterday was going to achieve that but yet again, late goal.
  11. We've missed a commanding, marauding, dynamic midfielder for a while. Whilst others (I can't bring myself to say it) have had that player for years. Now we do. He's been sensational since PC came in.
  12. I think this guy is telling a Whopper
  13. Often wondered if it was possible to laugh out loud and want to die with vicarious embarrassment at the same time. No longer!
  14. When ref was called over, I said to my mate (we were watching on telly) I think this might be one of those times he sticks to his guns. My mate agreed. Like you, I've seen us get shafted a lot worse (Dessers "foul" in Old Firm game for example)
  15. I was the same, I thought it was a red at the time. Then I thought he might change his mind, but when you see the foot up, before coming back down and then through him, I think the ref was within his rights to say he'd got it right the first time. Let me put it this way, if it was the other way around, I'd be wanting the red.
  16. There was 4 or 5 mins lost by the 57th minute mate for the 2 early stoppages 2nd half. When it looked like we weren't scoring I was saying 6 mins by that point.
  17. Yep. You can do it with a ruler on your own, using that still frame. Set the ruler in line with 18 yard box and slide towards the goal. See what disappears from view first as you slide, the Hibs foot, or Lawrence's foot. The answer is the Hibs foot, after it disappears behind the ruler, you can still see TLs foot - just. Offside.
  18. I've been on holiday, but assume we still don't have the audio available?
  19. I'm in the Danilo will come good camp. He doesn't panic, doesn't rush, doesn't snap at chances - although right now that's to his detriment because I can think of 5 times that taking a touch, whilst composed, has allowed keeper to reset. I'd be more bothered if he wasn't getting the chances.
