The most boring game of Football at Ibrox for a long time. Never got out of second gear. A complete snoozefest. Atmosphere was flat…even before kick-off. The team performance only made things worse. Worst atmosphere for a European night that I can remember. Long story short, the team and fans didn’t turn up.

Understandable. The club is rudderless at the moment in my eyes. Not much to be positive about, if anything. Lots of diddies tied into long-term deals with no prospects of being sold (realistically could be sold at a loss, but only if any club is daft enough to take them). Lots of diddies that have lingered around too long with most now looking completely unmotivated and only here for the pay cheques. Jumping from manager to manager with styles of play that are dull and boring on the eye. A captain who comes across as a nice guy, but is completely uninspiring. A board with minimal football experience who take the piss by trying to milk us like cows for all we're worth left, right and centre. From a footballing perspective, we need a miracle here. Being truthful to myself I have felt disjointed from the club since the Europa League final/Scottish Cup final and finding it increasingly difficult to see where we go from here. Needs addressed and quickly. Think most loyal season ticket holders have had enough over the last year or so.

I reckon whoever accepts the job is on a hiding to nothing. Difficult to see how you get better performances out of a lot of the players we have. Beale’s signings have set us back further than we were last season. Really depressing.

Found myself asking the same question today. We were long ball merchants first half. Looked like we’d lost any ability we had to play Football. Second half we tried to play Football, but were ultimately dreadful at it. We look like a team who are tactically doomed to fail, with weak minded players who are inept at the basics of Football.

Correct. We can add that to the list of frustrating things about his performance today (and typically all the time tbh).

Please tell me he didn’t say that after his performance today. He made Maeda look like Vinicius Junior first half, and couldn’t beat the first man from dead balls all afternoon. His performance was pathetic today. Even more so for a Rangers captain.

He’s just been a big, lazy, slow, clumsy lump of a boy so far. Dread to think what length of contract we’ve given him. Can’t remember, but bottom line is it’s too long.

If it was me making decision, I’d get rid of him. Beale’s been here 9 months and there’s been no improvement in the way we play, even with his signings. We look poor at best and lost at worst. Clearly Beale isn’t a manager of the standard that’s required. It’s gonna be a tough watch this season the longer he sticks around.

Ditto. Haven’t left Ibrox feeling as deflated as I did today for a long time. Embarrassing that we let a Tim team as bad as that away with the 3 points.
