Tbf I thought the second half yesterday we did get a lift and we were the better side by quite a considerable amount. I don’t think we can say the players didn’t care or try, or give it what they had

Im probably being too harsh tbf.

  2. Taigs were sitting quiet as mice for most of the match, after all how dare we have held them for so long when they are the greatest team ever to play the game. Our fans were excellent, and I'm not saying the players performance was nessecarily bad, but when Clement talks about the synergy, with this group it only seems to go one way because they sure as hell don't appear to be lifted and inspired by the support. Then again, most of them only really care about their wage packet and social media accounts.

  3. Raskin barely touches the back of the keeper, there is no force and it doesnt impede his movement. If you look at the box, theres about three or four other situations where players are pulling and pushing each other, it happens every time theres a corner. If thats a foul by Raskin then the games a bogey, everytime someone even so much as touches a player now, I want a foul. Its absolute nonsense. The thing that prevents the keeper getting to the ball are his two defenders in his way and he knows that, feels the touch and starts mouthing off and chasing the ref which he has done several times before, you can even see him laughing about it to Raskin later. Refs been totally conned and to say if that goal was given at the other end we'd be raging is nonsense. Well I might be raging at the keeper and the defending I suppose.

I still maintain, take all the controversial decisions that have gone against us against them in this season, if they happen the other way round its front page headlines and the taigs are storming the parliament demanding answers. We might laugh at their faux paranoia, but it clearly works for them.

Cheating bastards their abuse on the weasel Beaton worked we need to do that to refs.

Second point I seen folk say we'd be mules behind without var utter bollocks it's stole 3 opening goals against celtic from us and we have benefitted from nothing in 2 seasons in old firms

We did. We got laughed at.

    I’d rather have the trophy.

Every day of the week. Besides, I'm not convinced they would spend £50m and even if they did, its a bit of over kill not convinced you need to spend that to be successful in this country, you just need to be astute and look in the right markets, which hopefully we are.

But it is depressing. Yesterday I was raging, today I'm just depressed and fed up with the whole thing.

Obviously, results v them are crucial on a number of levels.

The problem for Phil is that, had we just put in usual results against Well, Ross County & Dundee, we’d have actually won the league without even needing to beat the scum.

Failures in those sort of games, allied to inability to beat the scum in 4 games has really piled the pressure on him.

We’ll find various excuses, like injuries, but that way lies a pathway of excuses.

Next year will be a cracker - we can’t possibly ditch all the dross in one go, so we’ll be left with some deadlegs.

Then we’ll ’need time’ for any new recruits to bed in.

Fast forward to having the same discussions this time next year…

I can see where you're coming from, but it does look like he's moving quickly on things and he definately sounds like he knows the issues and has plans to address them. Compared to previous regimes, it does sound a lot more promising. The issues of finance and getting to a place where we can challenge the taigs on that level will take much longer to solve, but success on the park will help with that too and I still think Clement can do it. I still also believe we need some kind financial boost from somewhere to kick start it, but no idea where thats coming from. And we also do, really do, need to start utilising the academy more because we cannot continue to think we can solve all our issues with a cheque, we simply don't have the resources for that and probably never will really because of how backwater this country has become.

  7. It obviously can be fixed in one window, as long as the recruitment is right, because it's been done before. I think what today showed is that we're not really that far behind them and they are not the prime Barcelona that some pundits try to make out. But we do need a degree of patience which is going to be hard if we lose to the taigs first meeting. And also because I personally don't have any patience.

I thought it was a reckless slide tackle. I wouldn't mind seeing it again.

In isolation I don't think it's a red - however given the yellows he gave in other situations it surely is, I mean you need to be consistent within the same match.

The Board need to fucking step up here, if you go shopping for players in a pool of shite, surprise fucking surprise you get some turds.  We need quality on the in,  over the next few windows and if the board can't flex financial muscle to do so then they can fu k fight of. :raging:

We definately need proper investment if only to kick start the process of rebuilding the team but we also need to be much more astute at using the academy and in signing players who have potential and can reap the benefits down the line, something we've rarely done and when we have, havent invested it properly back into the team.

Not sure how we take a stand. We've called out individual refs, the sfa, tried to garner support for independent investigations into the whole fucking system.

It's corrupt as fuck but as long as we're losing out the country seems quite happy to accept things.

Its interesting isn't it, that the taigs have been calling for investigations into officiating etc for about 70 years now according to billy mcbungle - yet when we bring it up, they don't support the motion. Whose fooling who really.

Nick Walsh didn't think either were fouls. VAR intervenes on Raskin because a goal is scored. VAR doesn't intervene on Scale's push because it would only be a free kick.

VAR is a pile of shite thats killing the game. Just because VAR tells the referee to look at something, doesnt mean the referee has to give it. The referee is supposed to be the final decision maker on the field but these days that doesnt seem to happen. In which case, why not take refs away and just have two taigs refs n the telly room making the decisions.
