  1. I have a great deal of respect for Smith and he's obviously brought us plenty of success, wouldn't like to see him go any time soon. I mean just think of all the tims that wanted rid of Strachan only to get Mowbray or Aberdeen getting rid of Calderwood for McGhee, you don't let a manager go that's doing well enough.
  2. To be honest maybe he is sounding like the right man for the take over then. As long as he holds to not moving or changing Ibrox I have no problems with him as long as he has enough money.
  3. "We are top of the league and if you need motivation when you're this close to the title, you shouldn't even be playing football." This pretty much summarises what we'll all be thinking. About time we wrap the league up in style I say.
  4. I don't know how you can possibly come up with that scenario from the information available. My only question is; Do we not have a medical team that can fix a hamstring? Yeah, I guess it's just a gut feeling I have. Scared we'll loose him.
  5. I'll take 3 points with a crap game too but really I'd like to see us wrapping up the season with a lot more flair showing exactly why we are and always will be champions.
  6. What offer did we present him out of curiosity then? If he knows what's best he'll stay at Rangers for long enough to develop his skill then go down south when he has a chance of first team football rather than rotting in reserves.
  7. I just don't think if we lose Boughie that he'll be able to fill his boots. We've always had one magic defender like Boughie and Cuellar and I'm sure Walter will once again sign another quality defender to pair up with Wilson.
  8. This is good news and I hope he does return to the team. At the moment it feels a little like we'll keep him on the bench then flog him off at the end of the season. I hope he does stay for another year though.
  9. I miss the wonderful goals he scored but I think our midfield is still well covered. We just need to experiment how to best utilize our players there. I think Davis in midfield with Edu and Thompson could work out well with perhaps Fleck playing just behind the strikers.
  10. Was just about to say I feel he plays well sitting just behind the strikers and he's definitely in need of a string of games to test his mettle. With the way Boyd has been lately I wouldn't mind playing him up front either.
  11. Yes, I think everyone will agree with you there! I'm certainly with you there. I can bare a dull game as long as we scrape a win.
  12. We'll tie the league up quite quickly then have a dull end to the season.
  13. He's had a good season scoring some much needed goals but he's still not a player I rate. I feel he gives away too many fouls and Davis, Edu or Fleck would better situated in centre midfield.
  14. not to mention a right back r whatever whitticker is masking hiself as. keep him for mid cover e gd going forward Oh yeah, good point. I dare say we may need a replacement for Boughie as well but Walter has a nack for signing quality defenders.
  15. Would be absolutely great to have it back. I'm sure I could stay with my family down there for the duration of it as well.
  16. He's not even that good! I'd take Marc-Antoine Fortune everyday of the week - at least he can score now and again, and trouble a defence. Kyle Lafferty is an absolute dud. Well that's true and Lafferty only managed to do that at the end of last season but Whitaker has scored more than Fortuné. Although that's still more than Lafferty, I just wish he played like he did towards the end of last season when he showed some form.
  17. He's the Rangers Fortuné.
  18. I'd like him to stay as a coach but I've noticed his pace is deteriorating this season and it's getting to the point where I don't feel as defensively secure despite his great ability to read the game.
  19. I'd like to experiment with that as well or a 4-3-1-2 with Edu playing just behind the strikers and Davis--McCulloch-Thomson in midfield.
  20. It still drives me mad every time they attempt to claim that was a goal.
  21. Watching the highlights there makes us look a much better team than I felt we were but at the end of the day we got the 3 points.
  22. It was certainly one of those magic saves he manages to pull off quick often. That save kept us in the game.
  23. Unfortunately it's not that often Beasley puts in performances like that. :/
  24. This is exactly it. The only way it could be is if we drop a hoard of points giving no other option but to leave it as the decider.
