  1. So this season the scum started off with - 10 in a row, - Shane Duffy the new Beckenbauer, - Slippys pure neva wun a league, - - that Morelos is shite hes pure neva Scord aginst us, - wev pure loadsamoney, - Sevco, -yous gona go bust, - Eddys pure worth £60m - etc etc etc They’re finishing the season as St Johnstone supporters and claiming Callum Davidson is the new messiah. Every day that goes by just reminds us how our return has absolutely broken them. We’ve lived through some pain in the last 10 years but in 40+ years as a Rangers fan this is right up there with the best seasons.
  2. I’m assuming the Hibs player will be done for the stamp similar to how Morelos was dealt with? Should I start holding my breath now?
  3. But if they win their games and hand and we have a second half of the season meltdown can they still catch us?
  4. Had a bit of a health scare this year so decided it wouldn’t be wise to join in the festivities today but watching the game, watching the trophy presentation and then seeing some of the pictures and footage on here and on various websites has me absolutely beaming with pride tonight. What a team, what a season, what a fan base.
  5. As we approach Saturday and the celebrations wherever we all are and whether we may or may not gather, it’s a great time to think back over the season. I wonder: - how many of us were confident back at the start of the season that this would finally be the season we’d see the league coming home? - how many of us would have thought we’d finish the season potentially unbeaten and potentially with over 100 points? - how many of us went into pretty much every game after our fantastic start to the season expecting us to falter? - how many of us until it was mathematically impossible for us to lose the league still panicked at every game? I’ve followed Rangers for about 40 years and have seen some real highs (9 in a row, Manchester, etc) and some real lows (let’s not mention them) but this season has been one of the best I’ve ever experienced and I honestly believe that Gerrard is building something special. It’ll be different from the Gascogne, Laudrup, DeBoer, etc years but seeing how we’ve improved over the last 3 years is incredible and if that continues then who knows where it could take us. This weekend is a time to celebrate the end of the beginning of our journey. Let’s look forward to the next part of the trip. As fans, we need to show patience and understanding on the days when things don’t go out way but more importantly we need to support and drive the team forward when Ibrox is back, full and bouncing.
  6. I can see them going down to 9 men the way they’re going
  7. If this stays the way it is then McInnes will be delighted ... only a small defeat will be his viewpoint. An absolute escape of epic proportions for us avoiding this serial bottle merchant as manager.
  8. That is one of the most hilarious moon howling things I’ve heard in a long long time.
  9. Picked up my wife and span her around the living room while both of us shouted yes at the pitch of our lungs. Thank god the neighbours were Bears or they’d have wondered what the hell was going on.
  10. I found it by entering Clare Whyte ... guffaw
  11. Agree, I thought he was outstanding also - he gets a lot of stick on here but, to my mind, he’s improving with every game and was strong defensively and in attack today
  12. Absolutely agree. I posted after one of the earlier games that we had one we needed to be understanding and patient when things didn’t go so well and too many seem to struggle that we’re not hitting the heights of when we had Gascoigne, Laudrup, etc. I want to see the team improving every week but realistic to know there’s going to be ups and downs (unfortunately). We’ve take a huge step forward from last season, and have a manager we must have faith in.
  13. Love hearing Mr Gerrard talk about us. You can tell every word of it comes from the heart and any player should be willing to run through brick walls for a manager like him. We, as a fan base, need to show understanding and patience on the days when things don’t go our way as it’s clear he’s building a team of which we can all be proud, and we’re probably 2 or 3 steps ahead of where we could have dreamed of being so early in the season. It’s potential for now, but there’s signs of huge improvements in a ridiculously short period of time which should give us all optimism
  14. Every single time I see Barry's strike it just gets better and better and better. Unbelievable!
  15. Before I pass out completely, no matter what, so proud of Rangers today, every player has done us proud.
  16. Charlie Nicholas on sky "you can't hear each other breathe never mind speak" What?????!!
  17. John Greig is and always shall be a true gentleman. Alex MacDonald however is an ignorant tosser. Me and 2 of my mates met him when we were about 11 or 12 in the mid 80s at our local swimming baths. Plucked up the courage to say hello and ask to see his Cup Winners Cup medal which he had on a chain round his neck. Blanked us and walked off. Us Bears have long memories and I havent been able to stand him since.
