  1. All religion 'teaches' that, whether it's upheld is a different story
  2. except it was 1872 we were founded . Indeed, and I'd like to ask him why he said we were founded as a 'Protestant boys club', I've never heard anyone else say that. That is bizaare but it does highlight how much the story of how the club was founded has been neglected for so long. Its high time the club did more to emphasise the clubs origins and educate some of our fans as well as others about the manner in which we were founded. Aye, even Kelvingrove had Rangers as a 'Club that started out as a protestant club', which obviously isn't true.
  3. Lets make sure this weekend the team repays him with the present he really wants, 10 points clear (again) and enough of this shite in the papers from the tim players and manager about "soon it'll be 4 points, then 1 once we beat rangers at parkhead yada yada".
  4. this I'm sure Celtic would love Walter to field that team. That team was when we were at our strongest imo, full on attacking, keeping the ball on the floor, short simple passes. The best form of defence is attack, and we know how bad their defence is, imagine us actually for once using width and putting the ball into the box for Boyd, Miller, Beasley/Novo to attack, especially if Boughie surges forward. McCulloch and Thomson are too similar to be in there together, the midfield is flat when they are both in it together, Davis is influential but wasted out on the right compared to his central dominance imo.
  5. I've never really seen what he brings to the team, he puts in the effort a plentyful but that's just not cutting it. He and Lafferty aren't that much different a player really, apart from the fact Lafferty doesn't spend half the match on his arse.
  6. Definitely went to Lafferty's mum for that haircut.
  7. Because none of our players are little cry babies that can't handle being beat by a better team.
  8. If you look at it he doesn't actually touch his face, even if it did it was a brush by not a smack, Zemmama goes down like a typical diving foreigner holding his face anyway. Funny how for the last few games we've had players almost with broken noses from elbows and fists in the face and it doesn't get a video and cry baby story all over the papers and internet, yet as soon as a Rangers player apparently does it its everywhere. Rangers can't win fairly, this appears to be becoming fact it seems.
  9. It's pretty much unstoppable too, when he puts it in that exact spot I've not seen a goalie stop it. (Yes, he has missed penalties, i'm not saying he hasn't)
  10. Played well today, best shot at goal he's had in a while too, keep it up. In saying that it'll be tough for him to find a game as I wouldn't play him ahead of a Novo, Beasley, Boyd, Miller wide and front two formation.
  11. There is no comparison to the SPL TOP SCORER
  12. I don't think we'll ever move from Ibrox, re-build maybe, but not move from.
  13. I agree, Thomson or McCulloch. As he's cropping up with some cracking goals, I'd go with McCulloch, sometimes I wonder after a match if Thomson was even playing.
  14. I feel you'd say that about anyone who is in direct competition with Boyd for a place in the team though! Agreed with Lafferty though. Barring a miracle, it's £3.8m (that we don't have) pished up against a wall. Competition I've said he deserves his chance, and he's had it IMO, back to the bench whilst the real strikers do it.
  15. He's just not good enough, that's that.
  16. Anything to take it away from the fact it was more than likely Celtic fans after losing to Kilmarnock.
  17. I'm sure we could find a manager that was in charge for two games, won both and then left, from that claiming him to be a better manager than Walter with a 100% win record, best manager ever actually..
  18. What Rubbish, you are comparing 9 seasons of being manager of Rangers to 4 in McLeish's case and 3 seasons with Advocaat, even half a season with Le Guen. Thats like someone flipping a coin twice and getting heads twice, so in theory getting heads 100% of the time, compared to someone flipping it ten times and getting heads only 3 times, so only 33% and then the first person claiming they are better at flipping a coin because of this Stats are easy to use for either side of alot of arguments, and whilst important, you have to take in other factors before just throwing them out there and coming to conclusions. Anyway you've chosen those 5 managers, what about the rest of our managers? John Greig, Willie Waddell, Davie White, Jock Wallace, William Wilton, Souness? If you are making comparisons, be fair and compare the whole lot, not just 4 most recent and then a manager from over 50 years ago, wheres the sense in that? Even then you'd have to look at the amount of time in charge, Struth with an amazing 34 years, Souness 4 seasons etc. Walter Smith the clown? Aye right.
