  1. The thing is, if our main striker isn’t scoring against them we have usually had others who step up to the plate. The likes of Hateley & Miller had good records against them. Nowadays we haven’t really got that 2nd striker who can do that… Also the 1st 2 seasons with Alfie our squad wasn’t good enough to go toe to toe with them…

I do think it’s time to move him on and overall I’d say he’s been a very good signing for us.

Think the game against Utd at home has severely dented his confidence. He needed hooked at half time but Gio kept him on when it was clear to everybody in the stadium that he needed taken off.

Didn’t think he played badly in that match. Missed a couple of chances but overall was ok… are you blaming Gio that he might not be good enough?

  3. As I’ve said in another post, Tav looks to have lost speed along the ground and speed of thought. His passing is slow and often gives up easy possession… his crossing isn’t as quick. Seems to be taking to long and tends to hit the defender because he is allowing himself to be closed down…

Unfortunately I think it’s only going one way for him, can’t see him getting it back to where it was/needs to be… He has been our best player for 3/4 years and an excellent servant to the club, but I say come the end of the season, if it’s still the same or worse then he should be out/moved on. Which won’t be easy to do as he has now been given a long term contract. And that was a mistake as he still had 2 years left on his old deal.

  4. Most of the team were very average tonight… only really Borna, Davies and Goldson were a bit above average… worst was Tavernier. And the problem is I can’t see him improving much as time goes on… I think he has lost speed. Not just along the ground but also speed of thought. His passing was woeful. Throw ins woeful and 2 or 3 times refused to make obvious over lapping runs… Very worrying considering we gave him an improved long term contract

  5. As the manager says… he’s one of us. So I back him and hopefully things turn around for him. I have no interest in social media bashings on Rangers players… I don’t think it’s fair to go in on a young Rangers player who has hardly played enough football for us  to judge fairly.

He maybe hasn’t been great in the games he has played in so far but I’m giving him time and my full support

Two words. Mental fatigue. It would probably kick in after a few games and no one wants that.

Aye, in at the deep end stuff might work, and I'd love it to.

Bit risky for me though mate.

That was more than two words… 36 I think
