Rangers could hand a deal to former Real Madrid and Porto kid Sergey Kundik. The 17-year-old Russian striker has been on trial with Gers’ youth side recently. Now the rookie is on the verge of penning a deal that would see him extend his stay at Ibrox. Kundik has had a well-travelled career despite his age. He moved to Portugal from Siberia and signed for Porto when he was nine. Spells at Leixoes then Boavista followed before he joined Spartak Moscow’s B team last December. Kundik switched to Real Madrid on a three-year deal in the summer, but was allowed to go on trial at Reading in September. Kundik has won caps for Russia’s youth sides.
