****Official Livingston v Rangers thread****
clashcityrocker replied to OceanRain's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Third game in a row where we don't look even remotely interested in winning. It might be very difficult to get out if this poor form before the cup final. -
I'd argue that the pressure is on US for this game, as we're expected to win it. Anything less will be seen as a failure on our part.

I'm in that picture (not the guy with the arrow, I'm much further to the right) :-)

Mcmurdo Has His Say On Warbs.....
clashcityrocker replied to AlCapone's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
I'm beginning to think that McTurdo and Phil 3 names are the same person. -
The fact that (hopefully) we'll be starting with a brand new squad & management team means that we'll likely take a few weeks to gel as a team, quite probably giving teams like Hivs & St Midden an opportunity to open up a gap from the start. We need to get our act together as soon as possible to minimise that gap as I don't think it'll be easy to recover from a poor start, as this season has shown. Ideally we should already have an idea of who's coming in as manager and what players he's likely to bring.

Jig(Saw) Comes On And Team Falls To Pieces

McCall showing that he's not good enough with that abomination of a tactical change today. The Old Boys network alive and well as long as he remains at the club. -
Getting beat of Hivs probably isn't as bad as drawing with Cowdenbeath, Livingstone & Alloa.

Rangers Pub Near Hampden?
clashcityrocker replied to crazy bob swollenbaws's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Always used the Churchon The Hill any time I've been to Hampden. Always mobbed, butservice is pretty good considering the numbers that are in there. -
*****the Official Alloa V Rangers Thread*****
clashcityrocker replied to Frank Reynolds's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Somehow I don't see Friday's game against Hearts as "a mouth watering prospect." More of a pant wetting, judging on today's performance (and the 10 or so before today) -

Durie & Jig first team coaches ?, Durrant demoted ?
clashcityrocker replied to jcb's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Jig as a coach??? Right lads, this is how you react to losing out in a challenge - fall down, look confused, rub head and check for imaginery blood & stare at the ref. -
We've beaten pish top flight teams. Kilmarnock & ICT were both very poor sides. QOTS & Hivs have managed to take us apart with ease. If we have a change of management and get someone who can motivate & get the best out of players we'll have a chance given a kind draw. But realistically, it's unlikely we'll get close to the Scottish Cup Final.

Our subs don't "work away" at half time. They aimlessly kick the ball around - including the 'keeper. That's been a bugbear of mine for seasons now. Especially the 'keeper fannying around, he should be practising cathes, diving etc.
-
We won't get anywhere near to winning the Scottish Cup this season, so it's a pretty pointless question in the first place.
-
No need to worry about what may or may not happen when we go up. Under the current regime, it's not going to happen - period. As for the semi against the mhanks - I think our best possible result will be to not turn up & give them the 3-0 walkover
-
I'm of the opinion that it should be kept for its original purpose - defending Rangers interests in court, should it be required. I don't think the main threat has gone away yet, with the HMRC appeal still ongoing this could still be used as a basis for the tarriers trying to strip our titles Until this has been firmly nailed down & appeal route exhausted, I think it should be held in reserve.

The multi coloured seats at Ibrox, when did they go?
clashcityrocker replied to pcbear's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
St Mirren did give seats a couple of seasons ago, they were put in storage in anticipation of ground development following promotion (stop laughing) The seats in Morton's main stand came from Ibrox. -
Result has been overturned to a 3-0 home win. Turns out that Hamilton omitted the hyphen in Antoine-Curier's name on the official team sheet.

I was just thinking the Leeds United thing myself earlier tonight. We're already well down that road.

That's a fantastic post, one which I will be "stealing" from to deal with some Yes supporting associates. -
Made the point that I was going to make. He used to rip the pish out of Whittaker every time we played them, until he generally ran out of steam around 70 minutes or so.
-
I didn't make the game today as I'm on nights (hence the reson I'm posting at this time) but I'd imagine I was included in stats, being a ST holder. I've just checked my work schedule and the first chance that I'm going to get to use my icket is 8th November.

We are in massive trouble
clashcityrocker replied to Jimfanciesthedude's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
OP echoes my thoughts at the moment. I really don't see how we're going to get out of this in the near future. No doubt we'll eventually find our feet again, but at what cost. At the moment we are so far behind the sheep & the arab mhanks that I can't see when we'll compete at any sort of level, and the real mhanks will be so far ahead it's frightening. -
Ally blaming Green for todays result
clashcityrocker replied to TheBluebells's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
This is the type of excuses and deflection tactics that you would expect from the mhanky mob. Not a Rangers manager. Utterly embarrasing.
