  1. Only cola was in the cup, and most of it had spilled by the time it hit Petrov on the heid. Yet he still went down as if he had been hit by a bus holding his face. Cheat.
  2. Walter has always been good at bringing players in. The problem in the past (and to a lesser extent the present) was he chose to play most them out of position, and that is something I don't like about him. If ever there was a perfect Director of Football or General manager for Rangers it is Walter Smith, for the main purpose of getting decent players to come to Ibrox. That said, I am right behind Walter and the team as we challenge for the quadruple.
  3. John-Paul Kissock for us? Not good enough and he has a rather poor first 2 names :pipehorse:
  4. Same here, I think I laughed for about 3 days when I found out it was 2-1, and then went up to Ibrox to cheer the team coming back! Best Day of my Life
  5. Don'tthink he would have played tonight if McCulloch was fit, but he did and was terrible. Feels like playing with 10 men sometimes with Adam in he team. Pur :angry2: e Pish
  6. They can call it what they like, it just doesn't work. We didn't play brilliant yesterday but we did create goalscoring opportunities with 2 up front. 4-4-2 for me
  7. Just watched Rangers TV and Walter said he is not playing Cousin tomorrow night. It's the right decision, Cousin is not interested in playing for Rangers.
  8. I wasn't saying Beckham had pace or skill but what Ivanschitz posesses. He gets called the Austrian Beckham because he's a bit of a pin up, has a dangerous cross on him and is very dangerous at set pieces. He's 16/1 to score the 1st goal or 6/1 to score anytime. Well worth a punt! I don't want him or any Pana players to score! Not a fan of betting against Rangers! I'll be putting my money on Rangers 2-0 @11/2 :pipehorse: :pipehorse: He is a threat though and will have to be watched!
  9. Pure Pish, worst football player I've seen in years.
  10. FIFA will approve the deal next week IMO, but as long as he remains a Rangers player I think he should be in the team! Starting with Sunday at Hibs. Scores goals and has the strength of a bear (just a pity he doesn't have the mindset of a bear and agreed to stay until the end of the season and help us win the league)
  11. 23.59 :pipehorse: :pipehorse: :pipehorse:
  12. I never knew he played for them <_< I for one will be watchin his performances closely........
  13. could it really help though, he could stay til the end of the season and put his value up with a league winners medal and a player of the year award? And that is exactly what Hutton would have wanted IMO. It's Murray and Bain who have told him better to go now so we can get our 8m, incase he plays shite for the rest of the season and we don't get the same figure, or Man Ure come in with less money at the end of the season and he wants to sign for them?
  14. Alan Hutton has been our best player by far this season and will be sorely missed. I think he has been told by Murray and Bain that despite his desire to stay with us, that he could help Rangers more by going to Spurs now and that is why he has decided to go. Money talks I'm afraid and the 8 million plus add ons is what the Rangers board want, what we as fans feel about this deal means nothing to Murray and the rest of his cronies.
  15. True, and it won't do us any harm to bring him in if Ugo goes. Cue the religious newspaper jokes..........
  16. Opening up a Stan James account right now :pipehorse: :pipehorse: As for as sure bets go, this has to be taken. Pile on I say :beer2:
  17. "nice to read but you have to wonder why iraq are team of the year?" They are pretty hard to beat at home......................
  18. Neil Murray. Must have at least 3 League medals and 2 cup medals from early 90's as well. Pure Pish
  19. I thought ye were kidding until........................ http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/s...ups/7072638.stm
  20. Ehm, don't know anything about it but I think it's a programme about Wlliam McNeil. Billy & a Tim :angry2:
  21. Everything Davie Cooper did on the park made me smile as a lad and so proud to be a Rangers fan. So happiness and smiles are my memories of him, Cheers DC.
  22. Daniel Cousin. Got to be. If its Boyd, after his lack of cutting edge today, would be hard to include him. Cousin has pace and strength to play up top. If Boyd starts then there needs to be some pace out wide which means LM or Adam is on the bench. Lets hope for Naismith on the right and Beasley on the left. I think Cousin is probably the better option too, but I just think Wattie will go for Boyd. Was Cousin even on the bench today?????
  23. Bad news, JCD was a sure fire starter on Tuesday night. Think Wattie will go with Boyd now as the lone striker for Tuesday's game.
