How is it the fault of the board? We have no money to pay him off and McCoist knows that. Alexander wants £84k and the SPFL are holding back £250k. How is the board meant to deal with such crap? By all means criticise the board when it is due but none of these issues were of the board's making.

GB I don't know how many balls you were juggling at the same time yesterday but you really did a great job for both groups. I was speaking to the guys from Combat Stress in the car park after the game and I can assure everyone involved that those guys had a great day. GB you made their day and it was a good break for them. A job well done GB.

Fuck the boycotts. Ticket bought. I wish more would do the same. I'd love to see us win a cup at this stage.
    The team needs the support!

Shite thing is our modern fhans couldn't give a fuck.
We've became such a diverse melting pot of fans that some of our supporters viewpoints are more akin to tims views.

It's no wonder that our club and support is a shambles if this is the way of the modern day Rangers fan.
We will never be the mighty club we once were until we regain the traditional beliefs that made our club great. We are a British club playing in Scotland and I have seen scores more union flags than saltires at matches over the years.
Where do some of these cretins come from?
Why support a club that's greatness is built on loyalist, unionist and protestant principles and traditions when you have no tract with those beliefs? It can't be because of the football so why don't they go to Firhill if they want to support a team with no 'baggage'?
Rangers used to be more than a club, sadly that is no longer the case. It used to be about much more than the football. We had a common identity that united the support and we were all the better for it.
Too many are embarrassed or ashamed of many of the things that are the foundations of our club. It was good enough for Rangers greats such as Struth, Waddell and Wallace. All three of whom I imagine would be strong No voters.

Maybe a wee thing for you to talk about and discuss.
For years I had the belief that the youth academy at the club has been terrible, but when I actually went and looked through the numbers we are actually punching well above our weight.
Got an email reply from the CIES who are statisticians who do lots of number crunching for uefa. They do a graph/map of how many players each country produced through its clubs youth systems who go onto play in the top divisions in Europe outwith thwir own country.
Scotland did okay for its size with 19 last year. Wasn't till I looked at the players names did it dawn on me the majority were all from us. This was just Scottish players.
So sent a wee email off not really expecting a reply asking them if they could tell me how many players had came through our youth academy who were playing top team football.
The criteria is they must have trained with us for a min of 3 years between the age of 15 to 21. They must be signed on professional contracts ,have played at least once, and the team must play in one of the top division leagues in Europe. Note this does not include the championship in England and doesn't include players still at club.
I was amazed to get an email back two days later saying they had done the numbers and were surprised to find that last year as of 31st of October we had 13 players who had came through our youth systems playing in the top leagues in Europe. Considering the amount we spend on our youth facilities that's quite an impressive number. For comparison the whole of Scotland only produced 19 players last season all in who met the criteria.
As said keep in mind doesn't include all the players in the championship like the £11m McCormick.
Just thought maybe one of you would like to take it further and get more in depth numbers with transfer totals etc. Would make for a positive story and maybe change a few perceptions.

Good Deed! - Member Donation - £142 for RDF
A Fund Member (who wishes to remain anonymous) has donated £142 to the Fund (with the express desire that it go towards supporting Youth Development.)
Rather than just put the money into the Fund, I'm keen for this donation to have its own tangible, measurable outcome. So since the best way to benefit RDF is through Brick sales, we'll use this donation to buy another Auchenhowie Fan's Panel (They're £150, so the Fund will chip in £8 )
We will then offer this Brick to Fund Members at a massive discount (name drawn from a hat the way we did with the Ibrox brick.) thus generating an extra bit of cash to go back to RDF to buy a brick to give away. This could go on forever!
It will be like this panel here. The wording is 3 lines of up to 15 characters each.

    oh, speaking of match programmes...
I'll also be buying the 4 match programme subscriptions for Erskine tomorrow. (£200)
That's a Home Programme posted out after every home game this season, to each of our 4 Erskine Homes.
Hopefully Our Veterans will never want for a Home Programme again!
Therefore after a year of Glorious and Faithful Service, the Erskine Programme Volunteer Division has been disbanded.
    They Served Well!

Being positive is miles better than getting the white flags out like yer self and a few others - at least I go looking for the win.
MInd you I suppose if your always negative you can never be disappointed - whereas us positive folks can be let down as we have expectations!
