Fuck me Paulo Sergio and now Bobby Williamson i do not think either would come in and do a better job than Ally , right now its all about getting the players to gel and to get used to playing for such a huge club , who better than Ally to help them . We have a unique chance that this club has never had before where for the next 3 years we can blood some young players without the added pressure which comes with trying to get in the champions league every year by the time we are back in the SPL some of our younger players will maybe have played close to a 100 games . We all love Ally and everyone knows the away performances so far have been poor but if you actually look at the bigger picture Ally has done remarkable to get a team even ready to compete after all the pish over the summer . Only thing i would say is maybe we do need someone to help Durrant and Kenny , someone who knows this level of football and the grounds we will be visiting a bit better than they do .

Either way the Murderwell game will be important . I can not honestly see us being allowed into Europe unless by then the SPL/SFA/liewell is no longer running the game , which is a real possibility .

Been supporting Holland since 1992 , never really got into supporting Scotland silly things like not picking Gough throughout the 90s and the way they handled big Dunc etc makes it hard to get excited about their games . I do wish them well though and hope our fans do not let the Republican sympathizers ruin it for them and keep supporting the national team although with certain players in the team and none Rangers players in contention for places i do not see that happening sadly .

Am a bit young to remember this but heard it from a few older bears that Cooper was nicknamed "Albert" after a character from corrie called Albert Tatlock who enjoyed a good moan . also am sure he was referred to as "The moody blue" .

Laudrup did not come for the cash although am sure we paid him quite generously after playing for clubs like Munich and Milan coming to Rangers was probably more to do with knowing he would start most games therefore get picked for Denmark . Gazza did not need the cash and am sure if Rangers had not bought him Spurs or someone in England would have , he came for a better chance to play in the Champions League and get his career back on track after injuries in Italy . As for the Dutch players i think Dick Advocaat had a lot to do with them picking Rangers and not really what kind of cash we were offering . e.g players like gio seen Rangers as a chance to make a name for themselves under a well respected Dutch coach.
