My wife's 50th yesterday, with Kate & William's marriage & the sunshine,what a fantastic day. The only blight was the sectarian singing,championed by a wee gorgeous Roman Catholic colleen from Cork city . Her rendition of F-ck the Pope & the IRA, truly was a reminder of the shameful sectarianism that exists outwith Rangers FC. Next stop for a gid day Girvan folk festival.

Local rivalry,Cumnock & Auchinleck are only a `brick throw apart'. Both were one time thriving mining communities,with the Barony & the Killoch pits being the major source of employment.Now like a few other ex-mining communities in Ayrshire, they have become shiteholes. Once attended a wedding in Cumnock,the bride was from Cumnock & the groom from Auchinleck,the common denominator that night was Rangers FC. Big Rangers territory.
