From top to bottom we are a shambles and don't seem to have learned from everything that's happened to us over the last 2 years. Those in power and within the playing staff don't deserve us as fans. We had a great opportunity to redress how the club was run financially and how the team was developed with a long term goal in mind i.e. back to where we belong whilst being run prudently. Unfortunately, we appear to be screwing it up with these boardroom shenanigans and all talk of £10m budgets for players when we're playing in part time leagues - let alone the shite we're constantly being linked with - means we still think it's ok to buy our way back to the top. Sad sad times.

Thats the way I read it/heard it. Sevco 5088 were initially going to be used as the vehicle company to purchase the assets from D&P but they changed their minds and set up a Scottish registered co. (Sevco Scotland) to purchase them instead. However, they did confirm in the media in June12 that Sevco 5088 bought them then transferred to Sevco Scotland. CG now denies this today that 5088 never purchased them at all.

Someone with heart, captain material that leads by example by getting tore into the shite we're playing against and won't accept halfhearted effort from teammates. We'll never afford that quality but someone like the way Butcher was would be ideal.

Missed the first half but been watching since half time. Their LB Robertson looks a decent player and at 19 he looks like a decent back up for Wallace - at least you'd have a natural left sided defender as back up rather than thinking "shit who do we play there?" if anything happened to Wallace.

We need players with a bit of hunger and desire about them, even if that means we're a stepping stone to England as we'll make money on them. Not for paying them $$$$$ so they can swan about like they're billy big baws and he falls into the latter.

Good. Mhanks have said to me we should buy a new team every year til we're back in the top league. I just don't agree with that whole philosophy, its whats got us in the mess in the first place. The problem is, what was bought last year has proven (again) to be woefully inadequate. The whole structure needs looked at and looked at quickly before its too late and we're back to square one. There is no doubt, we'll be the only team capable of stopping that manky mob winning the league every year, I just don't want it to cost millions and millions to do it.
