Just realised there that he said the last three games we've been shit.

I actually like that he included the old firm game in there too, as i do believe there are members of the dressing room who will believe we got a good result and played well.

He has a great competitive mentality.

He's talking sense, unlike his captain and manager.

I’d counter that by saying Tav isn’t bad when he’s fresh. He has enough pace to get him out of trouble (as never been particularly strong positionally).

End of the season when he’s spent. He doesn’t have the pace to bail him out. And that half second he’s off it we get punished

Pace and Tav don't belong in the same sentence, unless it includes lack off.

I think the biggest problem is that hes not a captain material. While being a captain, he does not hide and always takes responsibility, although its clear he is not capable of pushing his teammates to do the same. Hes always on free kicks, pens, corners, throw ins, always going forward to create an opportunity. Sometimes doing too much is bad, because it means you might not be doing it properly. i.e. the corners. His teammates are probably used to him taking responsibility to the point that they actually rely on him for everything at all times. He needed more leaders around him and he never had them. Despite the ocasional defensive clusterfuck, i actually feel sorry for him.

I actually feel sorry for him too.

He's played too many games over the years.

He's continued to start even when he was playing poorly.

He tries his best but is not a natural born winner.

These things are down to the coaching staff.

Sima should be in middle of the park.

A blind man can see that.

If that means Borna, Robbie Fraser, Davies at left back then so be it.

He’ll probably go with same team as last night bar Dessers in Roofe.

Who's the blind man that can see that. 🤔

Do you mean as a centre forward?

If so i don't agree,  he's better as a winger how gets into the box and scores goal.

As a no9 you spend much of your game with your back to goal with a cemtre half breathing down your neck. It's completely different from playing wide or even as a no10.

Sima's best when he has space to run into.

  5. We need to change things up.

Play Sterling and Sima on the right side. That's a strong,  quick, powerful combined for the big Hampden pitch. Mcausland can replace Sima once he tires during  the second half.

Yilmaz (or Barasic if injured)and Matondo on the left. Not as strong as our right side but plenty of pace and width on our left side. Silva can replace Matondo when required.

Unfortunately, I'd stick with Goldson/ Souttar as centre halfs.

Cantwell has been poor but is probably or best option as attacking midfield.

That leaves 2 places in midfield, if Lungstrum plays we can only expect 60 minutes from him. His legs are going. I guess we're left with Lawrence or Dowell or Rakin due to injuries. Although King might be a defensive midfield option?

Not much pace or energy in that midfield but that'll  be somewhat compensated by the pace and energy on the wings

I’d actually play sterling in midfield after witnessing the last two games. I’d bring Raskin in for lundstram too.

If we had two of him  I'd play him in midfield too!

I've no idea what's going on with Raskin. He's barely been picked by Clement recently.  Maybe there's something going on between them.

But we could do with the energy of an inform Raskin in the team.

  7. Yes, Tav has contributed to many goals.

This attacking qualities were always his strength.

But that's been on the wane for a while. He far less effective in the opponents half than he once was .

For example, he rarely get down the line now or whips in those Beckham like crosses.

You can't play someone now because of what they have done in the past and expect the same when they're just not capable of it anymore.

Tav's time is up, It's been coming for a while, Sterling should of had a few more outings at RB earlier in the season to prepare him for taking over.

Although, we could also do with Sterlings energy in midfield. He deserves his shot at RB.

He shouldn't LB except for emergencies, another Clement mistake.

Nae bother ya fucking weird hawk. He’s had a goal influence in Over 1/4 of the games he’s played in

hes a fucking right back ya idiot

Agreed,  but most of them are in his own half.

  9. As I've been saying for weeks it's time for Sterling to take over at right back.

He's got the energy to run up and down the park all day. Providing us badly needed width on the right.

Unfortunately, we're stuck with Barasic on the left until Yilmaz is fit, but it's important to have someone left footed on the left side.

We need far more changes than this but it's a start.

When you’re right back is your most creative player its not his fault

We don't have any great creative players and certainly not Tav.

Scoring penalties doesn't make you a creative player.

This is the leader of the squad. This is the mentality of the leadership team. It is no surprise that this is the norm. It always will be. He has to go.

"Whenever anybody puts a bit of pressure on us in Scotland or gets in our face it seems to affect us too much,” Tavernier wrote. “At the start of the season teams dropped off us and we were scoring four or five goals, but now they smell blood straight away and put us under pressure. We are not good enough at the minute to react to that"

He got it spot on with his own words.

    Nothing has changed.

  12. I'm not surprised by our capitulation in the last 3 games.

We're not going anywhere while we have undroppable players in the team. Tav, Goldson and Lungstrum.

Unfortunately after a great start, Clement doesn't seem to have the ball's or the foresight to make difficult, but necessary changes.

Tav should of been out the team after that first half performance in the old firm game.

What do we expect when we except mediocrity?

Sterling is going to be far more useful for us playing in midfield rather than RB.

We need his energy and drive there rather than effectively isolating him at RB. He'll also offer far more cover to the central defenders than Lundstram does.

Tavernier is also the club captain and won't be dropped, regardless of his poor form of late.

Going back a fair bit now but i remember Terry Butcher getting dropped.

He was our captain, with a playing career Tav could only dream of.

But his standards dropped and he was out the team.

It's the only way to do it if you want success.

It simple,  if you're playing pish you don't play, captain or not.
