Was unplayable tonight.

I remember Ryan Jack getting sent off a good few years ago for a tackle at Pittodrie. ( on stevie may i think?)
Get's the ball but the follow through catches the opponent.
Since then it's usually a red card if it high speed or with excessive force.
The ref seemed well positioned and his assistant was very close to the incident. Does anyone believe they somehow didn't see it?

There are far too many penalties given for handball. There's various factors that should be considered in deciding if its a penalty, not just the position of the arm.
There will always be marginal decisions, but at present there are penalties given that with a bit of common sense should be easy decisions.
-
And that's a red card all day long. Studs in the face at head height when he has every opportunity to pull out of the challenge.

No surprises tonight on Sportscene. Lots of time spend looking at and discussing controversial refereeing decisions when it effects one particular team.
Night and day compared to coverage of the shocking challenge on Saturday and the blatant handball against Killie.
Just a wee reminder to any official who dares to give a decision against them.

He was up for it tonight, he's not quick enough to get away from defenders so regularly tries to cut back inside but defenders are now wise to it.

That’s the second shite handball decision we have had against us v Killie, the Souttar one at Ibrox was a disgrace.
How is Lundstrams a penalty and Mayo isn’t?
The SFA released a review of VAR decisions the other day. The Souttar one they admitted a mistake was made.

That Lundstram one is never a penalty. Just saw it there. His elbow is tucked in to his torso if you freeze it. It's where it should be, tucked well in.
His arms go up in the air after the ball hits him. That makes it look like he's making himself bigger, but he hasn't, his arms are kept into the body.

Dessers is just getting warmed up.

We need to keep the pressure on.
Unfortunately that's the only way to ensure a level playing field.
Refs need to know if they make mistakes against us, we'll go after them every bit as much as our rivals across the city would.
-
He was good in the Old Firm game too. Still needs to improve final ball.

It wasn't given as offside. Collum didn't think it was a penalty. Bizarre
-
-
There was too many attempts to play out from the back today.
Difficult to do against a high press when your centre halfs aren't great on the ball.
-
Wait for the deflection headlines tomorrow about sectarian abuse/ death threats etc directed at Collum.

Officialdom Conspiracy thread needing dusted down?
Fwiw I liked Walsh overall handling of the game. Let it flow where he could, didn't make it about him, wasn't giving out cheap yellows, let big boys be big boys.
But the penalty call is criminal by Collum. Its not incompetence its a conscious wrong decision. Its cheating, regardless if they found an offside call ages later.
Walsh had several decisions to make re 2nd yellows and was very charitable, wrongly, to the scum. Questionably charitable.
I see no difference in the incidents which chalked off our goal at home in the last OF game and the one today where Dessers fucked it by dilly dallying then making contact with their player when he eventually decided to hit the ball.
Balogun one, no complaint.
These decisions had a huge impact yet again on the outcome and should be challenged by the club. Should happen whist we also look internally at why we self inflict defensively and repeatedly fail up front.
There was definite contact on Dessers when he was right through, don't know if VAR even checked it

He could be the new Calvin Bassey.

If we can't get anyone better till the summer, might be worth taking him on loan till the end of the season as back up.
