Honestly get this thread in the bin. Take him and his goals out the team and the scum would have won the league by now.

Nah, obviously we'll need to find someone else to take the penalties.

Tav scores some amazing free kicks but he's so inconsistent with them.

His corners are also nowhere near the level they once where.

Unlikely it’s extreme as opposed to standard hyper mobility? Or unlikely that’s the cause.

Either way I have no idea. Just what I heard

    They are the same thing.

The murmurings are his problems stem from extreme hyper mobility.

So it probably is more likely that he is just injury prone and it’s not because he can’t be assed to play for us

It's very unlikely it's extreme hyper mobility.

  4. Looks like Clement had decided he didn't want extra time and penalties.

Why else would you take such a gamble?

We need more variety at corners and to be set up so were picking up the majority of headed clearances.

  5. Reports in the media recently saying Sima could be available for 10 - 15 million. Sounds like bullshit.

He's got 1 year left on his contract in the summer, so i think between 5 - 8 million would be a more realistic fee.

Silva is a much better player than Sima in that position. You’re right between the two Sima would be more realistic financially, but to prefer we signed Sima seems silly

The only thing that is silly here is your comment.

They are different types of players.

    Silva is more technical.

    Sima is quick and athletic.

Good arguments could definitely be made for signing either player.

But to suggest preferring we sign Sima is "silly" is childishly silly.

  7. I remember Ryan Jack getting sent off a good few years ago for a tackle at Pittodrie. ( on stevie may i think?)

Get's the ball but the follow through catches the opponent.

Since then it's usually a red card if it high speed or with excessive force.

The ref seemed well positioned and his assistant was very close to the incident.  Does anyone believe they somehow didn't see it?

  8. There are far too many penalties given for handball. There's various factors that should be considered in deciding if its a penalty, not just the position of the arm.

There will always be marginal decisions, but at present there are penalties given that with a bit of common sense should be easy decisions.

  9. No surprises tonight on Sportscene. Lots of time spend looking at and discussing controversial refereeing decisions when it effects one particular team.

Night and day compared to coverage of the shocking challenge on Saturday and the blatant handball against Killie.

Just a wee reminder to any official who dares to give a decision against them.

That’s the second shite handball decision we have had against us v Killie, the Souttar one at Ibrox was a disgrace.

How is Lundstrams a penalty and Mayo isn’t?

The SFA released a review of VAR decisions the other day. The Souttar one they admitted a mistake was made.

That Lundstram one is never a penalty. Just saw it there. His elbow is tucked in to his torso if you freeze it. It's where it should be, tucked well in.

His arms go up in the air after the ball hits him. That makes it look like he's making himself bigger,  but he hasn't, his arms are kept into the body.
