His theatrics could have cost us the match if it wasn't for VAR. Can't really blame the ref for thinking he's dived when he's throwing himself all over the place. I'm sure he must be a good player but needs to show it consistently.

He just absolutely fucked it today and put us on the back foot straight away. If he just launched into the Govan, the Jap wouldn’t have been anywhere near him but his dithering just 20secs in put us on such a back foot, it’s criminal. Offers so much going forward (usually) but he shat it from the first minute against Maeda (who is utter gash btw).
We’ll probably only miss him when he’s gone but in such a momentous game for us you don’t want your captain to fuck up inside the first minute. In a game where you want to say to your entire back 4, “don’t fuck about” we sadly have a back 4 who do.

I would go as far as calling him Pure pish man. Pish maybe but that's taking it too far.

Last season he was rotten till about February then he was excellent till the end of the season. 
This season he's been average. Sterling could be better and has a future.
Tav's done at the top level.

I've been a fan of Tav for years and stood up for him many times. I even argued years ago that he was worth an England call up. 
But he's done now.

He's looked slow for nearly 2 seasons now. He peaked in the Europa league  final season and has been on the downward trajectory since.
