  1. I think he moved to Lazio on loan until the end of the season after he was not a regular anymore for Stuttgart, but his contract is up in the summer.
  2. I hope Di Maria rips Johnson a new one.
  3. Same as above, Italia 90. Milla dancing, Higuita prancing, Schillaci scoring for fun. Rangers related would probably be the second leg of 1992/93 Champions League tie against Leeds, I even had that game on tape.
  4. Villa have been shocking in March since O'Neill took over, I think they have won 1 game from like 18 or so. And Almunia is a legend!
  5. That's what I'm thinking too, but you never know.
  6. That's the default dark skin, you can change it in the preferences. The white skin is too fucking bright, hurts my ass.
  7. Get in there Seedorf! Title race is officially ON!
  8. So last night Stoke scored yet another goal off his throw in. Made me wonder if it's the single biggest weapon in football (or at least in the Premierleague) today? And I just mean as a part of someone's game, because obviously right now someone like Rooney is the biggest weapon in the EPL. I think Arsenal have conceded like 3 or 4 goals against Stoke this way. Stoke have been in the EPL now for almost two seasons and I'd say most teams still haven't figured out a way to defend it.
  9. I find college basketball to be incredibly boring a lot of the time. Probably cuase of them using a 35 second shot clock, a lot of aimless passing around on the perimeter. But the atmosphere is often crazy.
  10. About his long passing ability...he likes aiming balls at his teammates, who pee at the training ground according to Fergie.
  11. Indeed, he talked a lot of shit last year, when Beckham wanted to stay on loan longer.
  12. He has more assists now than Ronaldo had in all of last season I believe. Really starting to come into his own and his fee might prove to be a bargain further down the line.
  13. I think Cech's problem is that he just seems to shy and reserved. Given on the other hand goes mental at his defense after he has to make a save. His communication skills are probably not the best, but as a shot stopper he is definitely one of the best. Another very good shot stopper is Gomes for Spurs, albeit a blunder prone one.
  14. Wenger is a hypocritical cunt, probably never saw those two tackles.
  15. No its not. Its a clear sending off. He broke the lads leg. If a celtic player did that to boyd, your view would be different. I disagree, the leg break shouldn't be what determines if the player gets sent off, it's the action, not the outcome that matters. Nonsense. Its the outcome which always matters. He broke the guys leg ffs. He had no other choice. The ref would of got slated if he had kept him on. Lets not talk nonsense here. So if Ramsey's leg wouldn't have been broken, then he wouldn't have been sent off? Why? His action would be exactly the same, so it's either a sending off regardless of the other player's injury or not. Outcome should not matter, by your logic any freak accident that results in a broken limb should be a sending off if it involves a player from the other team. For example if I headbutt someone during a match, I'd get sent off regardless if I broke his nose or not.

  17. Yeah, looks 50-50, which is why Arsene's post game interview pisses me off: He's always quick to jump out and accuse other teams of stuff, but never sees, when his players cross the line. Instead of concentrating on sending a positive message to Ramsey he throws out this rant, which holds little ground, if you see the tackle. And you could see by Shawcross' reaction that he was just as disturbed with it as the Arsenal players, furthermore he doesn't seem like a dirty player to me at all.
  18. Absolutely agree with this. Bridge hasn't gone running to the papers, he's declined to say anything, and he knows that if he goes to the WC the press will be all over the England squad with stories about rifts and "divided camps" and all the other cliches they love to throw out. By doing this he's sacrificed what must have been his dream for years - playing for England in the World Cup - for the good of the national team. Now if that's not being a man, I don't know what is. John Terry is an idiot, as has been shown on many occasions in recent months with various stories about him emerging. He had his best mate covinced he was trying to help patch things up between him and the mother of his child, and all the while he was shagging her and arranging secret abortions. Personally I think a professional footballer should still be able to play in the same team as someone else you dislike. Bridge obviously sees it differently and that's his decision. However, the fact that Terry seems to have emerged with any credit here at all is staggering! I agree, John Terry is a cunt. I don't get people saying Bridge should've tried to work it out. Why?! He has done nothing wrong, while on the other hand Terry didn't even apologise. Fabio should kick Terry out, before Terry starts secretly offering tours of the English training camp in South Africa.
  19. Surely they should only be able to sell to teams, where the domestic transfer window is still open? And besides they had all of January to try and sort their mess out, I have little sympathy for them.
  20. http://www.vancouver2010.com/olympic-news/n/news/afp-news/cross-country-skiing--bronze-is-'gold-with-diamonds'-for-falling-star-majdic_282760In.html Check this story out. Turned out later she competed with 4 broken ribs and a pneumothorax.
  21. I'm pretty sure teams have to qualify for it. Indeed. 9 top teams from the World Championships qualify directly, Britain was eliminated in the second stage of the qualifying for the remaining teams.
  22. I have won on occasion, but nowadays just don't bother and just warn the player. Otherwise they might get worried about the lack of squad discipline.
  23. It won't, but 65k per week till the end of the season is "only" bout 1.5m or so. Consider that Celtic sold McDonald for at least twice that on the final day of the transfer window.
  24. TBH paying Robbie Keane for half a season will not be that big of a financial burden I would imagine, especially with the merchandise and tickets income it brings with it. Lack of CL money is much more important.
