  1. This tonight was Bayern playing their first choices at the back as well, they have worse issues than Chelsea missing Terry. No Badstuber and Alaba means that the likes of Van Buyten or Tymoschuk are likely to play.
  2. When I read the names of Chung Dongwook and Chan Fook Meng I thought you were making a joke post.
  3. He was? The Sun's article said his dad used to be a youth player.
  4. Not an autobiography (well partially as it uses some of his diary entries and it was his idea for the book to be written evetnually), but Robert Enke's biography written by Ronald Reng is well worth the read.
  5. Badstuber and Alaba will be massive misses for Bayern though, they don't have much depth at the back, bombscare Van Buyten, maybe Tymoschuk, firestarter Breno, if he can even play...And for Alaba's replacement you have mugs like Pranjic or Contento, maybe Rafinha, if Lahm's moved to the left.
  6. Anyone else find it odd that Nerlinger is Bayern's General Manager?
  7. Great first half, tbh despite being a goal down, Bayern were the better team to me, need to make it count in the second half though, as Real don't need much of an opening to strike.
  8. The clasico has been moved to the Saturday, April 21st, as expected.
  9. Probably taken out of context or misinterpreted, obviously football is not important for him at the moment, fighting this illness is and after that who knows.
  10. Not that guy, this guy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teteh_Bangura Both Banguras were at AIK at the time, but Teteh had a brilliant goal scoring record, 15 goals in 17 appearances and then got sold to Bursaspor, possibly as a replacement for Miller.
  11. Yeah, that was the hospital's official take on the situation, critically ill in intensive care in heart attack unit.
  12. Aye, Evander Sno, he had to be revived too and then returned a couple of months later and is still playing in the Dutch top division for Waalwijk.
  13. As cynical as I am regarding twitter-spread rumours, I really hope the one about him breathing again is true.
  14. They handled the whole thing while it was happening very well, they only showed him on the ground initially, but once they realised how bad it was, they just kept showing wide shots or shots of the public. It was the discussion afterwards in the studio and with Champion, who was commentating, that was a bit cringeworthy to say the least. I know they are not prepared for such things, how could they be, but John Barnes was rambling on like a muppet.
  15. I'm enjoying it. It's all this King Kenny bullshit that gives Dalglish an easy ride, but he's thrown money away on shit players, they aren't getting the results and I'd really enjoy seeing West Brom finish ahead of them.
  16. Yeah, they didn't quite manage to rock the Mesbah as much anymore. Ox visibly tired, he was ill the previous night and then tweaked his hamstring as well and the players you bring on are Chamakh and Park, then you're fucked.
  17. How hard would it have been to say no comment on the handshake issue, but nooooo, he has to go and develop his own theory on what went down.
  18. Is this similar to The Guardian's Secret Footballer?
  19. It's cause you have to be a league member for three years before you can play in Europe I think.
