Yes but circumstances would be different this time we won't be going into admin, be getting relegated and face 3-4 years of turmoils off the park. I don't think Coisty was a good manager but to say he got dealt a bad hand would be an understatement. As for Miller as a player? I think it might be one season too much for him.

I would give Miller a role on the coaching staff next season and let him learn under the new gaffer for a few years then we have a ready made replacement waiting in the wings. I think given time Miller would be a good manager down the road.

Throwing Senderos in yesterday looked like a sign of utter desperation by MW. The man has completely run out of ideas now by the looks of it and he needs to sit down with the board this week and thrash out a deal with the board for him to leave. Sadly I don't think he will and I can only see things getting worse on the park as it looks like a lot of players are now just going though the motions under MW. The look on Millers face at full time said it all the guy looked embarrassed and it certainly does not look like a happy dressing room at the minute.

The majority of his goals have been in the third tier of English football. At championship level his goals per game ratio is decidedly average.

Even more embarrassing is the fact that Hamilton, St Johnstone, Ross County ,Aberdeen, Hearts, Kilmarnock and Motherwell all have strikers that have scored more league goals than Kenny Miller our top scorer this season. St Johnstone even have two players that have scored more goals than anyone at Rangers this season.

If MW tactics are not working now because every manager in the country knows how to counteract them then how would anything change 18 months down the road? The problem with sitting on our hands and doing nothing is it lets that other mob hoover up £15m per year CL income while we sit in the hope that 2 years from now MW might be able to put out a team that can beat teams like Ross County and St Johnstone (Something we have so far failed to do in 6 attempts now under Warbs). As for the whole "ethos" thing if defending like the Keystone cops and finishing 3rd or 4th in the league is somehow laying the foundations of future success in anyone's eyes then I really don't know what to say?

I don't think anyone set out to purposely lie the aim at the start of the season was to win the league. Most on here were certainly not complaining about the standard of signings in the summer from what I can recall. Also can't think of many posts/threads predicting we would have as awful a season as the one right now. Niko, Barton and Rossiter looked an excellent midfield on paper and spending £1.8m on Garner who most fans probably thought when signed would get a15-20 goals per season and should have been for the kind of money that was paid out. The two biggest problems are/were signing sevreal players that were clearly not fit or injured and MW just being such a dreadful manager.

If something is not done then it could get a lot worse Hearts have clawed back 5 points in the space of a few days and they look like they are up for it now we don't.

McCall would not have won Rangers the title this season but you could be damn sure we would not be 27 points and counting behind at this stage with him in charge.
