If you go back to the very start of this thread you would see I called it as a joke from the off and am not attending. My point is it just shouldn't happen because the game against them should never be a friendly... And that the connection to their current CSA headlinesas rationale to call it off by our fans is disrespectful
They just need to change one team. Do the Aussie's know about celtic's pending cases? Why Australia would invite them with this hanging over celtic is a disgrace.

You think we are going to come out and make ANY reference to tho ongoing stuff re: celtic and abuse? Jesus fuck.
Why not? They have 40 pending cases. Is it not the truth? Should we not be standing up,against child abuse?
This board need to grow a set as this is not gonna go away and there is fuck all the mhanky mob can say or do about it as it out there after the sheriff said the boys club and celtic are not a separate entity and it will go to court

I don’t understand that response to what I said
The cunt you are on about who came to Ibrox under Souness from Hibs, they already knew the cunt was a bheast and that came from the chairman at the time so it went right to the top at Hibs, They could not get rid of the cunt fast enough.
Do you think Souness would have signed the cunt if he knew? Why did Hibs not tell us his past? And why did the Hibs chairman not contact the police when he found out kids where being abused at their club?
Like celtic it was deny and deflect and keep their good name intact, They did not give a flying fuck for the kids that where abused

What on earth are you slavering about? I've been VERY clear on my opposition to the friendly. The fact the fuckwits on the board have signed up to it means we either fulfil our end of the agreement or get sued if we can't find a way out. Choosing to get sued when we're bang to rights is fucking moronic.
It's called doing the right thing which as a club we should be doing, Once it's out their why we pulled out then I don't think the people of Sydney will welcome them, They as a club need replaced or we don't take part it's that simple.

I class the act of child abuse the same, yes. We got rid of the abuser though and made no effort to cover it up.
celtic and Chelsea are completely on par when it comes to the handling of the situation. Covering it up by paying a victim silencing money is not “closure” and it is certainly not justice by any stretch of the imagination.
celtic have admitted no guillt and have paid nobody, the cunt at Ibrox you are on about the Hibs chairman knew the cunt was abusing children and let him move on to Rangers who did not know anything about him as a child abuser.
Hibs are the guilty party not us as he should have been jailed for all the kids he abused while at Hibs but like celtic they wanted to sweep it under the carpet.
The proof of this is the chairman told a close friend a reporter who went on the record on tv by saying the Hibs chairman pulled him aside and said about the abuse, So if you want to point the finger then it Hibs not us you should be pointing the finger at as they did not do the right thing and involve the police in the early 80"s

No cause those games actually matter and we have to play them. They aren't friendlies.
I said when we went to the lower leagues that I didn't care if we never ever played celtic again and I still feel that way, but if we have to play them that's fine, I'd prefer their club died and we'd never have them darken our door. But until that happens then we can endure the bare minimum while giving our support to our players. A friendly is completely different.
I wouldn't want us playing a friendly against Newcastle or Chelsea either but if drew them in Europe I wouldn't want us to boycott
Well said, I could not agree more.

No , they just tried to make any allegations that children were abused under their care go away by trying to buy the silence of victims.
That's why 30 victims are taking them to court with one saying his father sent a letter to Jock Steiin in 1968 that the boy himself wrote, he never found this out till his mother said in the 90's his father ad found his letter to Torbett asking him to stop hurting him and he wants this used as evidence, the board covered it up so it goes right to the top and these victims deserve their day in court do you not agree with that.

because it'll cost us millions.
Will it?? Have you seen the contract? So you would put money over children been sexually abused?
If it cost us millions then whoever signed the contract needs to be sacked it's that simple.
Disgraceful logic from a Rangers fan who puts money over child abuse, If the shoe was on the other foot those cunts would bury us or have you forgotten already what they did to us in 2012? That's right they tried to finish us as a club but they are not big enough to finish us.

But it's not either or though. It's both and it should always be both
But if we have to lose one out the three then I would rather it was the cup, yes I would be gutted leaving Hampden like every bear but we must take 6pts from them and we are very capable of that.
Personally I would love to win the treble but that's a long shot.

Thats just stupid.
Why is it stupid? We should be pulling out and should never have agreed to it.

They'll leak bits and pieces abour how they want to pull out but will then say they have been unable to find a way out after signing a contract.
Well let them sue us, Ss that won't wash with our fans.

Come on you Hatters😁, Luton Town up to 3rd in the championship is some achievement, Hoping for a Wembley play off final and will take the wee man down for it.

Fucking hell.
I absolutely despise the piss poor attitude some of our support have towards the domestic cups. Our cup record is rotten in recent years and I want a Scottish Cup win, I’ll be delighted when we lift it again. Also there’s every chance the winner of that is the team that goes on to lift the title, as if we win at Ibrox we will only be level on points, that semi could be the game that cripples one of us.
It's all about money and the Scottish cup brings in next to fuck all, yes I want to pump them all 3 games but we must win both league games against them as a draw in either game then it's out of our hands.
Scottish cup or Champios league it's a no brainer

If the board can see it through, they will.
The sheer brass neck of these so called Rangers men. Maybe as I said above we need to show our strength in numbers and refuse to renew our books until they cancel it.

Playing it.
Not in my name or many many season ticket holders names.
Remember season ticket renewals are coming up and we should boycott renewing them until this board release a statement saying they can't play a friendly against a team who have denied the voice of 30 kids who were abused by their coaches, We Rangers as a club to the man stand up against child abuse.
This board can go fuck themselves if they play this game and shame our club.. So much for the shite that they know who our enemy's are and will strike at the right times.

Now we are back where we belong the board could not give a flying fuck what we fans think.
30 adults have came forward to date and are taking celtic to court over child abuse while being trained by their boys club.
And why has no one ever asked in goverment why they rehired a known child molester twice? No excuses needed as it is clear for all to see.
Maybe it's time we told the board if they go against or wishes then their will be a season ticket boycott as a bheast is a bheast no matter what, colour, age, religion or is football the exception.
I do not like all bears want to be associated with a club who could have a 5 a side team with pedophiles within their club.
If we play them in Australia then every penny we earn should be handed over to a child abuse charity
So much for this board saying we know who our enemy's are.
They the board are not doing this is my name, I have never missed a old firm game, either attending, radio back in the 80's or on tv that I have known for donkey years but I won't be tuning into this game as I will not give that mob any more money than I have to within our league and cup game.
Shame on the Rangers board and a major own goal playing against a team with 30 sexual abuse cases pending and that's the tip of the iceberg as everyone in this country look the other way.

Let's fucking hammer them at Ibrox then it's game on and let's see how they handle the pressure.
Games like today wins league titles, and when we go into the beggerdome and do them again watch there fans go crazy.
They can have the shitty semi final if we have to lose any of the 3 games against the scum as champions league money after this years europa league run should put us clear of them for a few seasons as they are going for broke this season.

Hopefully plenty of Ukraine flags at Ibrox when they come over.
Sounds to tarrierish, I will just take my union flag

Hope spring eternal. However their scudding of us has given them the belief they will win the title. Just look at what their Greek lad has been spouting.
Of course an injury or two and the tables could turn, but at the moment it is difficult to see how they will fuck this up. Stranger things have happened but I’m not that confident especially as the referees seem to be playing a huge part in their success at the moment. We’ve been waiting for their luck to change but it hasn’t yet.
Just scud them at a Ibrox in the first game and put serious doubts in their minds.
Both teams will show nerves the closer it gets and I just hope our players being over the course before plays in our favour
WATP Keep believing as big Marv once said.

The SNP wouldn't be able to get the votes they do if they didn't get a significant share of the Rangers fanbase. The club used to work on the idea that there were 1.2 million fans in Scotland alone. That's probably still broadly accurate. We also have fans throughout the country and are typically the best or 2nd best supported team in every region. Logically, quite a lot of Rangers fans throughout Scotland must vote SNP for them to get elected.

And? People do not honour contracts all the time and if they want to sue us then see them in court.
