Anyone that thinks this team are as bad as Warburtons are clueless. I'm not the biggest fan of Pedro but even I can see what he's attempting to do. It's not nearly as bleak as it was with Ally and Warburton at the helm. Our squad is too thin on quality at the moment and injuries are fucking us but there are encouraging signs. Even Dorrans himself last night admitted that the players weren't good enough in the first 90 minutes and that is down to them - not Pedro.

I was more than happy for Kenny to get his year contract but more for the impact sub and as you say the dressing room influence to help Pedro. Hopefully it will only be until the newbs get up to speed. Niko however its like playing with a man down. Unfortunately we are not in a position to carry passengers. Week in week out it's the same - Miller and Nico shouldn't be starting - we all know it only Pedro doesn't. I'd much rather a couple of our youngsters were given the starts and get the codgers on for the last 20 or so. Pena looks like he might have something, but needs match sharpness and only games will give him that, so he should be getting match fit with the 20's or closed doors friendlies. Nice finish from Herrera today but remain unconvinced with him.

Always will be with Miller cutting back or getting in others way, the lumbering Wallace coming up for the predictable overlap and then Krankjar coming on to make us even slower. All 3 of these guys need replaced or used sparingly. Poor wee Morelos looks good but needs a strike partner and big Herrera aint it on his showings so far. Liked the look of Hardie yesterday - he was busy and got in good positions but don't see him as prolific. If we're not going to get a forward I'd get Dodoo back in the squad and play him in the centre where he should be. Either of these 2 would be better than Miller. Definitely need a left winger and LB. Herrera, Pena and Dalcio have been big let downs so far. Can we really afford to wait for Pena to get fit as our midfield forward. He must have been in some shape when we signed him which is a disgrace.
