I also feel the absence of Wallace was significant as he has been playing like a winger anyway which we can get away with at this standard.Smith did ok but he is not as adventurous as Wallace and this also contributed to a poor first half.

Back in those days you used to get the odd unofficial tour of Ibrox on a Sunday(see my previous post in this thread) and some nutters used to jump about the terracing and run up the park pretending to score then run up to the Rangers end going mental(also in the picture) I did this in the mid 70s with the 20 Club and I was wondering if this was it as it certainly seemed familiar and brought back some ancient memories.

Any further news on seeing the highlights on line?

Looking at this photograph reminded me of a trip to Ibrox with the 20 Club (Rutherglen) one Sunday in the mid 70's. Was wondering if this was it? The guys running on the park up to the old Derry reminded me of this quite vividly.

Used to be like that years ago before the stadium was redeveloped.

I don't particularly remember the Alfie Conn bit, but Ibrox was heavin that day and it was a scorcher, and if I remember correctly Sunday football was practically an unknown back then. For some reason I remember the Dundee keeper that day - Thomson Allen I think, lots of their fans on the pitch prior to the game having their kids photos with him. Weird how the old memory works!
