  1. Why is it a cash flow problem? There was a £2.5m credit line in place, presumably from our current bankers (Metro, I think) - for which we will have to date paid a hefty non-utilisation fee. Wallace, who has come across as a very shrewd cookie has probably chosen not to renew that facility and rather elected to raise shareholder funds at a figure that is £1m lower and undoubtedly on more favourable terms.
  2. Nash is an external consultant. Stockbridge's departure leaves us without an FD. The fact that this has been triggered under Wallace's stewardship is the only confidence I can take from the move. Short memories - if Stockbridge had walked after Mather we would have been left rudderless, subject to an AIM delisting and Christ knows what further raping by the so called authorities of a footballing nature in this country. For that alone I thank him for hanging on and wish him well going forward. If any crowd reaction to this is shown at Ibrox tomorrow, I seriously worry what we're about any more. As far as I'm concerned he was one of us, for a short while maybe, but a Bear nevertheless. Feel free to list your preferred candidates to take his place.
  3. Thank you , Elfideldo. An oasis of sanity in the shitstorm that"s going down in this forum at the moment.
  4. Good shout, RyanMac, but how do you explain that to our own who are now more consumed with the so called players refusal of a pay cut.. I despair - hate the bastards but they have an awful beter propaganda machine than we have. For the sake of clarity, those of our own who are consumed I still stand with you, propaganda machine etc - total hatred.
  5. What the fuck has happiness got to do with it. You're paying for the privilege of supporting the Queen's eleven. We may not always excel but by fuck we'll always be remembered for our endeavours.
  6. Is there half a chance of drawing breath and looking at what the fuck is going on? Have the club confirmed the level of cuts required from the playing squad? No. Have the club confirmed the salary cut for the players being reported? No. Is that twat Lament from the Biased Broadcasting Corporation wallowing in the attention only The Rangers can bring? Yes. Do not give the fannies the credence they crave and definitely do not deserve..
  7. Horrible news - RIP Ian, thoughts with your family. Any chance of some perspective hitting this forum, waded through a page and a half of infantile shite before this piece of tragic news came to the fore. Maybe I expect too much, but when news like this is out there does it not at least deserve some sort of prominence ahead of the usual mince. The Rangers Family will never forget you, Ian. Rant over, maybe, but not forgotten
  8. Many Happy Returns of the Day, Sandy (True Blue Legend)
  9. Are we sending the scouts out to Inner Mongolia or in to Outer Mongolia?
  10. There's only one Fernando deserving of an individual posting on a Rangers forum at this time and it's not Torres. Our thoughts are with you our Friend.
  11. SJ I am of the same ilk as yourself - thanks for breaking cover. This forum stands head and shoulders above the rest of them. Lately the bile has been just too much and I've just chosen to spectate and not participate. I'll now pin my colours to the mast - Craig Mather walked in to a shitstorm and IMO handled it as well as anyone could have - Dave King is wishful thinking at the moment based on the number of enemies who will contest his credentials. Paul Murray has won a court ruling but if there is any justice the AGM will sent him to f**k and we'll never hear of him again -Aye right.!! In the meantime all we can do is support the Queen's Eleven as we always have and hope to goodness some sort of sanity emerges at the end of all this.
  12. Why do we keep feeding the Bastard Broadcasting Corporation? For weeks they couldn't possibly show a Rangers item as anything worth reporting would have been positive.I could have produced McLaughlin's report today by just reading this thread. Thanks for fuck all McMurdo. Personally I don't care what Mather's annual salary is but if he continues as he has to date in the role I have no complaint. Congratulations to the Louden - absolutely thoroughly deserved. Congratulations to Kate and William - name the boy after his father and I'm sure RM could organise a white rocking horse in due course.
  13. Take a flying fuck to yourselves. Daly has been captain for how many minutes out of our long history? If that man produces the football I don't doubt for a minute that he's capable of and aids us to the pinnacle which I believe we will once again attain I for one will acknowledge his contribution without fear or favour. By the way if these cunts have toasted our bus there has to be a day of reckoning coming.
  14. Connections like this is what makes our club great. Treasure the memory of your father, Ali and thanks for sharing it. You may or may not be aware that he holds the distinguished honour of scoring the Rangers 2000th league goal against Kilmarnock on 15th September 1919 (courtesy of Rangers The Complete Record). A certain Mr McCoist scored the 7000th against Motherwell on 9th December1989.
  15. As usual the original post is buried in unrelated pish. This company truck daily between Oban and Glasgow and one of the tractors has the RFC crest proudly displayed as spotted. http://www.obanexpress.com/
  16. What's all the angst with the 'humble' word. Craig Mather has to date filled the boots of interim CEO more than adequately and I fail to see where humility diminishes his own or the Club's status. John Ruskin said it better than I ever could: The first test of a truly great man is his humility. By humility I don't mean doubt of his powers or hesitation in speaking his opinion, but merely an understanding of the relationship of what he can say and what he can do.
  17. Technophobe talking but I've seen the the terminology 'bump' used to keep threads alive on this forum. This man deserves to be recognised as one of those who stood up and counted at our lowest ebb. Neil I wish you well, you deserve one reasonable final pay deal. Administrator, keep this thread alive if necessary until the start of the season (bump) - guys like this and he will not be the last one need to be remembered when the glory days return as they surely shall. Some future Rangers captain will hold a trophy aloft and much as I will revel in the occasion I will humbly recall and thank the contribution of giants like Neil Alexander
  18. Is this Bear's Den or Gorgie's Grotto - HMFC as an institution can fester away and die, I couldn't care less and will waste no further text on them. To their fans who purchased season tickets for the love of their club in the now false belief that they were keeping them afloat (I sincerely believe that very few of them are the vitriolic bastards that took to forums and still do to kick us down and try to keep us down) I can honestly say you deserve better but shit happens as we all know. Now the important stuff - the mighty Rangers start kicking a football again very shortly in pre-season friendlies, another important step forward on the journey to the top. Back the lads that take to any park in our colours in any game and forget the rest - we won't have to be remembered, we'll be there, unlike some of our competitors who will undoubtedly fall by the wayside.
