And above shows the problem we have, as bad as it makes me look saying it. There is no way on gods green earth are we going to be getting player's much better than the ones mentioned in fact they will probably be a good bit worse, the club doesn't have the pull it used to coupled with no money to pay sensible wages compared to down south even championship level, so people will be very shocked /disappointed when the new players start turning up!

That and not letting people know that there will be no major investment, but by which time everyone has already renewed! (and yes we do already realise there won't be much cash spent, but as yet it isn't official)

Problem is that the renewal deadline is in a fortnights time which is before this season has finished, makes you wonder if they want everybody to commit first?

Couple of things that get me, first as I said at the time if pedro was the best candidate on the list who else was on it? And is that now 3 games where he has made changes at half time so it would seem he is not setting the side up correctly to start with which you may get away with against the motherwells and particks but not the better sides, and I still say they should have gone for Pardew!

The biggest problem we have is the number of players needed to push on, firstly we won't be buying more than 4/5 players IMO but need about 7/8 plus it's not that easy getting rid of players on big long contracts if they don't won't to go, anyone remember Winston Bogarde?

Good point but if my maths is about right that is about 9.5m in wages without the players out of contract this year, that's quite a bit of money for the shit that is served up!
