  1. Here someone gets it, the moment he left the pitch when he stepped back on he was deemed as being on the goal line until the ball goes out of play, so if he had pulled back to the edge of the 6 yard line and had 5 of our players between him and the goal he was still offside, remember the Luca Toni goal at the 2012 Euros which was disallowed for the same reason. So as soon as he touched the ball in that passage of play he was going to be offside, and I bet the reason it took so long for the lino to flag was that it needed the fourth official to tell him he had walked off the pitch!
  2. Patterson had stepped off the pitch so he was always going to be offside when he touched the ball, regardless of our players, even if he was on the 6 yard line he was offside,
  3. it was offside because as the player had stepped off the field when he stepped back on, wherever he was when he touched the ball he was deemed to be on the goal line, I'm here to help!
  4. Garner needs to have a man beyond him when he wins the headers, as yesterday the ball just went through to the keeper whilst he is chasing his own flick on's
  5. Well I lived in Hailsham for 43 years and still stay there during the week, used to get into both Kings head a few years back, also used to go to the speedway every week back in the late 80's early 90's , there is a temple in Eastbourne which houses 12 different lodges plus numerous side degrees!
  6. Went to a meeting just before last Christmas, fantastic place had a look round the small museum inside as well, and they said it was a quiet meeting as only about 90 people there, my lodge in Eastbourne would need to have 3 meeting nearly to get that many people
  7. Yep and with a 5-0 record on the road a franchise record, and Carr throwing for 513 yards yesterday another franchise record and 9th in the all time list, it's looking pretty good ATM!
  8. 2 things I noticed yesterday, firstly the ball boys are hopeless they seem to be surprised when the ball comes towards them and not sure what to do, And secondly during the minutes silence yesterday, Michael Stewart was the only person in the press box, possibly the ground who didn't stand for it, I wonder if the shite bag will be wearing a poppy today on sportscene and if it's because the BBC insist on it?
  9. I saw their coaches at the game yesterday, they had 3 of them, all looked pretty full so that's pushing 150 people!
  10. BWV, sorry about that, tramps is the one I will go with, as being English whenever I say taigs I sound like a fucking idiot lol, good to see the page has only been up 14 hours and already has 193 likes!!
  11. That's handy, always surprised there wasn't one here, especially as I heard a rumour there is a tic one which goes from Taylors!
  12. Haven't the old bill also said that they expect to make more arrests than usual, which I think is a shocking statement to make before the game!
  13. Thing is after what 96 pages, the long and the short of it is that Barton will be going nowhere, they don't have the grounds to get rid, a row at training won't do it unless he smacked someone, name calling won't, as for the betting considering we had a player who bet against his own team and stayed shows that there is probably no grounds there, so he will be back so might as well get used to it, no if he still plays is another issue all together!
  14. Probably a stupid question, but could Children in Need be contacted to help, or do they not help individual cases?
  15. yep I'll be down south as well, but will see a few at the airport in the morning and they will take the piss bastards!
  16. Bottle it, you do realise he has played in Croatiav Serbia games, which is possibly the hateful game in international if not world football!
  17. Just out of curiosity, how can we be missing a player who has only played about 30mins of football for us "the most"?
  18. Mbabu went off to Switzerland (grasshoppers I think) on loan, as there was a story about it down here, because he took a pay cut to go because the other side couldn't afford his wages, and he just wanted to get a game!
  19. thing is whatever we guess the team will be is irrelevant, as it will be the same 11 as the last 2 league games!
  20. What I did notice was that whenever one of the fullbacks got caught out of position Barton immediately dropped in as CH and one of the CH's pulled out wide to cover the fullback, looks like that will help through the season!
  21. Been in my seat for 3 years now MFN, and the people to my left and behind are all sound, it probably helps that we are all on the square but with me being English it's all a bit different, but the 2 old boys behind seem to watch the game backwards, some is done terribly they shout Hardlines (after 2 years I actually asked the missus what that meant lol) and when something doesn't quite come off they mon and shout it's rubbish, and the bloke to my left was always hungry as he is always shouting curry, but after about a year I realised he was shouting carry, but he's from the borders so that explains that, sit at the end of a row which is lucky cause at 6"3 those main stand seats are a bit tight, and the people in front have changed every year, in fact the old dear yesterday fucked off at half time and didn't come back!
  22. mongoose, that is the nuts, I sit right on the other 18 yard line main front but as it's row B and the camera is down level with the press gantry it isn't a problem!
  23. well the way I see it, apart from the 2 of them losing the ability to run, jump, tackle, kick and head the ball, The most worrying thing is that on Saturday it looked like they only met each other for the first time that morning, and not 2 players who have played and trained together for best part of a year!
  24. About 9.45 and no the subway is still closed!
