Has enough ability and passion to play any level in scotland and championship in Engand. His temperement will have to be sorted but it will be difficult to erase his mad moments.McCoist should start by telling him to stop all communication with referees and just play to the whistle instead of seeking an explanation then doubting every decision .I also think he should stop treating teamates like schoolboys (barry ferguson comes to mind here ) as giving coaching sessions to them during a game is embarrassing for all.One things for sure is mccoist must sort him out caus if we do play a big cup game this season or as we move up the leagues he will cost us and it won't be down to lack of ability.

Great atmosphere from bf1 on saturday and it helped team in first half anyway .Ibrox without bf1 choir would be a lot harder to bear.

Allys mistake was'nt who he took off but who he left on .When a team is down to ten men they need a fast mobile forward to run the line and be an outlet for the team ,big jon the least likely candidate for that job i've ever seen. The big man tries to avoid the ball for fear of falling over it and only excells at headers in the box.as far as i'm concerned he's a passenger in the team at Ibrox and yesterday was no different. No agenda here but it seems Ally keeps him on the park the whole game every game so at the end of the season he can count his goals and say i told you so to the Boyd supporters .By the way Jon makes kris look a lot more mobile and yet again kris would have scored three in a game where Jon got one.

Is there a worse football pundit than Michael Owen

That'll be the guy who came on RC several times to say Rangers had acted in a disgraceful manner and should be ashamed for depriving local businesses of cash knowing full well it was Craig White. -
Rangers fans seek cash vow at Wallace summit
ianferguson replied to North Rd's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
First question If we don't sell Lee Wallace what's the next move -
Spot on m8 ,despite our financial worries at the moment Wallace should not be allowed to leave for the type of cash mentioned .Wallace is more than a player at the moment ,he's part of the journey and for the new generation of fans starved of Coopers and Gazzas he is the one player who is Rangers class and is seen as the first brick in our spfl team.If our finances are so bad we have to practically give our best player away then i fear our present board are not up to the job caus they would only be getting by month to month if theres no investment. I know we have to cut our cloth accordingly but theres always an exception to the rule and Wallace is the exception at anything under 2 million.

Barrie McKay to stay at Morton for the rest of the season
ianferguson replied to Adoniram's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
If Barry does'nt come good at Ibrox i'll be very dissapointed caus lack of ability definitely not the problem for he has that in abundance. -
Fan ownership for Rangers seems unlikly but its about time we found some way of investing in our club without greedy directors and investers getting it.Lets face it while our clubs in it's darkest hour we need to dig deep into our pockets to help it caus at the moment we're practically getting a free ride while we wait for someone else to invest. As hard as it may seem we need to find some way to unite for the good of the Gers caus no one else will do it

Started watching Gers home and away in 80-81 season and for me that team would walk over present team.Noticed Urquhurt getting abuse in this op but he had left by 1980 and while he was'nt technically gifted he did have to compete with better players than we have today anyway .A regular line up was Mccloy Jardine Dawson Forsyth Jackson Bett Redford Russell Cooper Mcdonald and MacAdam .Of the current squad i'd swap Wallace for Dawson but that's it.I go to Ibrox with my boy every game and have NEVER found it harder to watch. The early 80's team was between two great eras for gers and crowds did slump but always had some class on the park (Davie Cooper alone made it worth watching and we did win some cups) playing against the best united and sheep teams in their history.Maybe a bit bias and nostalgic caus they were my first memories as a full time bear but present team has players who should be left in third tier and the only redeeming factor at Ibrox is the fans as usual and special mention for Union Bears who would have graced any era at Ibrox and who help make this ageing bears trips to Ibrox bearable.

ianferguson replied to Adoniram's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Don't want to join in the Ally bashing but this one has me confused .Surely Parelta is the reason mckay has been moved out the squad so i cant believe we had to go to honduras to get a player of his limited ability. Not only is he taking a wage we can ill afford but he:s holding back one of the most talented boys we have .Though a bit inconsistant like most young boys he got us off our seats more than most at ibrox least season . -
The crowd today and ST sales next season

Seats paid for not sat in . -
Best player ever to wear our jersey but thats not the same as being a great Ranger.Only been back at Ibrox once since he left and that was to promote his book .Wish him no harm but unless his family lock him in the house the outcome is both inevitible and sad.

Improving the atmosphere at Ibrox. All it takes is one fan.

Sectarian singing if i recall correctly was the problem -

WELL SAID David murray was under pressure to sell by fans and the bank and made a big mistake by taking a chance on Whyte (i know that's an understatement) but no proof has ever been shown that he knew whyte would run us into the ground.Murray maintains he was conned by Whyte and lets not forget Ticketus fell into the same trap to the tune £18m plus so he was'nt the only one conned.Murray probably thought anyone with £18m in cash must have been worth taking a chance on and i feel sure Murray never thought for a moment whyte would get us liquidated.Has murray ever been shown to be a liar in his time in charge ,if so i must have missed it and still prefer to give him the benefit of the doubt. When he left gers there was no debt and he never made a penny ,the EBT's were his only blemish and he was proved correct when he said all along they were legal. With the benefit of hindsight Murray made mistakes but his time in charge gave me joy my son will probably only ever dream about and that's why i will keep my rose coloured glasses on when others criticise him. Believe me i know plenty of bears who feel the same way,but as usual it's the critics who shout the loudest.Obviously someone has to take the blame for all this shit and Murray is an easy target for fans who are hurting but for me Whyte will always be the scumbag of the piece.

Cant' t wait till Blacks an ex Ger ! If he was half the player he thinks he is we would sell him to Real Madrid and buy a midfielder who can tackle and shoot.

Attending ibrox out of a sense of duty as performances this season have been very poor.Ian Black has found his level so i hope we leave him in div 1 when we go up to championship.Jon Daly easily the worst first choice centre forward ever to play for Gers. His lack of mobility limits forward passes from midfielders and he seems to avoid the ball for long periods of time.Lewis mcleod our best midfielder last year yet we stick him on left wing ? Must mention the crowd today was pretty poor so i'm not alone in my discontent but we're here for the journey so no matter how bad it gets i hope the fans remain the shining light in our dark days and get their arses back in their seats next week .Rant over watp -
Took plenty corners in last few games and while a few have gone astray imo hes the best we have as it's been a fault of ours for years.
